Shape Shifter In a Box

@irida_the_shapeshifter was chosen to help me update and create a much-wanted new piece of #wallart, #artnude in the box.

Seven years ago, my husband and I spent months designing a flat-pack box that popped up in minutes. This box was then used for virtual advent calendar shoots (in fact, it still does every year since); it was also hired out to #parties, #venues, #commercial #teambuilding days, and #piratesweekend on the Barbican; it's been used for #boudoir, #dudedoir, #glamour, #family, #fashion, #music, #artopendays and now an #artnude masterpiece.

People think this is a person photoshopped into a box, or it's just a way of displaying multiple images at once, and to a point, they aren't wrong, but they also aren't right.

It is a box you physically climb inside; it has a top, bottom, and sides, no back. Each box is carefully chosen to be in its place because the boxes around it interact with the other. In this case, it was shapes to create other shapes, so although each box is beautiful, with its neighboring box, it creates another shape and thus becomes an interesting piece of artwork.

These nine poses are just the start of creating one massive piece in the new year.
