My name is Jay, I am a hobbyist portrait and headshot photographer.

I try to be as fun and easygoing as possible, and I have been shooting for 6+ years and focus mainly on portraits and headshots but I am flexible. I shoot all levels from commercial, sports,  glamour, fashion, implied nude, and nude, as I love to create artistic images.

I like many styles, from low-key, bright colours, to urban, dark and moody, as long as they have a story or atmosphere.

Every shoot should be fun, interesting, creative and productive, otherwise, what's the point?

I shoot a lot in my (quite small) home studio as its size offers a more intimate environment for good communication with the model, my opinion is that communication is key. I'm happy to shoot on location for environmental portraits if required/requested as the environment can offer great opportunities for getting creative and I'm also happy to shoot at other studios.

I have shot for a sports clothing brand and shot many portraits, I have created, minted, and sold many NFTs,  but I'm always looking to find some new ideas to push my creativity and shoot things I have never thought of.

Experimentation and exploration are how we grow as people and how I grow as a photographer and I'm happy to collaborate, as for me shoots should be a mix of ideas.

I work for pay but I'm happy to work for TFP which will help me expand my portfolio as I believe the experience can be payment itself.
