I was suggested to Selena by a fellow photographer and so she got in touch. (thank you Beautiful Sinners). Selena is easy to talk to, very responsive and keen to learn. The shoot was arranged in no time and we had a great time creating exactly the contentI was looking for my project. 'A Girl I Once Knew' This shoot was entirely reliant on improvisation and Selena did not disappoint. All the qualities I was after, things like intimacy, closeness, vulnerability, playfulness, have all found themselves in the pictures with little direction or instruction. I can think of a few other shoots with such a high yield of usable shots. What Selena may lack in formal modelling experience, she compensates with enthusiasm and willingness to try. An absolute gem which I was hoping to keep a secret for a while longer but she deserves a glowing review and here it is ! Book a shoot with Selena… we are already planning a couple more, so best join the queue :-)
