Miss Sarah E Forbes

I am an amputee mother of 2 children (son 10yrs & daughter 3yrs) working class woman from Wiltshire.

 

I am currently a casualty simulation actress which means as an amputee I am used in extreme disaster scenes in order for the emergency services and the elite of the paramedics to train on and to aid in their improvement of saving lives and rescuing procedures.

 

I did some fashion modelling when I was younger but as an amputee I was not required as it was not the way back then. However in the light of today’s world I have bags of confidence and perfectly able as any able bodied person so I do not see myself as disabled but I do see myself as a capable amputee and I follow in the idea of Kelly Knox and the diversity modelling that she is involved in and I believe I can be great for this.

 

I personal would like to describe myself in 3 words as independent, generous and confident

If you was to ask my family or friends the 3 words would be, stubborn, logical, caring.

 

I am willing to work, I am eager to learn, I am available when flexible, I am driven and determine to succeed.
