I'd been a huge fan of Sebastian's work for a while so it was honestly a dream come true when i got the chance to work with him. His kind and friendly nature is only matched by his incredible photography knowledge and keen eye for detail. He has great creative ideas but is willing to try any of your own concepts, and i really appreciated that. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I really hope to work with him again. Really grateful for our shoot and thank you, Sebastian!

Had my first,shoot with Sebastian yesterday easy to arrange so I was up in Cambridge for the weekend doing a mini tour and this,guy phone me to ask if I would like to shoot and I said yes im soo glad I did he was,relaxed fun and knows the good,angles

I had an amazing time I Portugal with 2 photographers and another model. Vic being one of the photographers. I was mostly shooting with the other photographer although I done a few sets with Vic in the villa and down the beach.

Vic made me feel comfortable, was super kind, and really looks after his models. He produces amazing images , has great ideas and I can’t wait to see more!!

What can I say, Sebastian is the god of photography.

As a new model coming into the industry, Sebastian made me feel so welcome. From the messages at the start to actually meeting.

At the shoot, it was clear that Sebastian was a professional at what he does, the photos he took were second to none on brilliance and the lighting techniques he used just made the photos flawless.

I cannot recommend Sebastian enough and it would be an absolute dream to work with him again ☺️

Had a fabulous shoot last week with Sebastian. I’ve always wanted to shoot with Sebastian ever since I laid eyes on his work, as it’s utterly flawless! So we finally had our first collaboration last week. From the communication leading up to the shoot to the shoot itself , I felt comfortable and at ease. Sebastian came prepared with props/outfits and was able to give me direction as well as hear my ideas. I can’t wait to see the images and can’t wait to shoot again. Recommend ☺️

Now, I’ve followed Vic and his work for many many moons now so I was ridiculously giddy when he jumped in last minute to work with me on my last slots at Aura studios during my recent studio day. I’ve always been a huge fan of his unique and creative style and his lighting and post production technique are both flawless and second to none. Shooting with Vic went by too fast and we shot quite a few sets in those short few hours. Not often do I see the back of a camera let alone be aloud to choose my own shots so I was really made up that day. Vic indulged my crazy mad idea for the last set and let me throw oil and water around so it’s easy to say I’ll jump at the chance to work with him again. If you haven’t worked with Vic before then you absolutely should. He can’t possibly take a bad photo, he knows his stuff and if he sees something that needs changing is lovely and helpful and happy to direct to make the image stronger.

A perfect gentleman and true to form he made sure I got to my train home after the day safely and on time and drove me straight to the station entrance.

Thankyou so much for a fabulous shoot. Again! 🙏🏻

He is guaranteed to put a big smile on your face an brings around an air of positive vibes!

I shot with Vic at the beginning of my journey as a full time model, he holds a special place in my heart as I truly believe he kick-started my career, so I have a lot of time for Vic and his expertise as a photographer. It goes without saying, he is a lighting genius, and he is always learning new tricks and updating styling, to get better and better.

He is also one of the kindest photographers I know, we always review the images after each set and pick our favorites.

Sebastian was a joy to work with, a really down to earth chatty sort of guy. He knows exactly what he wants to achieve in his photos, and directs very well when the situation calls for it. His knowledge on lighting and angles is ace and its plain to see he loves what he does! We shot in a little cottage and even with less than perfect natural light, we still made it work really well. Cannot wait to see some of the results and work together again soon, we are planning for much more in the new year!

I had met Sebastian before when I shot with another photographer at Sebastians brilliant very well equipped studio :) had the pleasure of shooting with him myself on Friday on a GG shoot with Gemma Marie at my cottage location. Sebastian is a excellent photgrapher :) he just used natural light on this shoot even tho not much natural light around he knew how to get the results and the pictures are amazing :) I would highly recommend other models to work with Sebastian :) his very talented and professional photographer :) but also realy nice and easy to get along with :) we all had a good laugh and lots of fun shooting realy looking forward to working with him again :)

Having known him for a couple of years already, this was my chance to see him in action, being lucky enough to fill in for a dropout on an all female-tog natural light workshop - excellent and revolutionary idea in itself! It was great to see and hear him talk of playing with light, breaking it down for a newbie easily and patiently explaining without being the least bit arrogant or judgemental. Two experienced models who had worked with Sebastian before too, great choices in Sophia Blake and Amber Tutton too - really suited a mob of lady togs ;)

What else can I say, his lighting is awesome and if you get a chance to go on a workshop with him you are sure to come away with both knowledge and great shots - no matter how experienced you are

Worked a few times Over the years with Sebastian! In fact we pretty much started out around the same time! I have had the pleasure of watching his work progress constantly since the day I’ve met him! He’s always been keen to learn light & has a huge knowledge of how to make a gray image! His retouching is second to none

I modelled for one of this workshops today, was an all woman’s workshop ran by him! Such an inspiring day and everyone went away massively happy with what they had learnt throughout the day with him!

I’m absolutely proud to be friends with him & im excited to work with him much more over the next coming months :D

Sebastian did a wonderful job explaining in friendly plain English about lighting and how best to use Natural Lighting in an indoor and outdoor environment. We went to a Shoot at a lovely Location called Thurston Lodge.

He was excellent at setting up shots and getting the models ready for us to then have a go shooting models in different places and light.

We had a fab day, the models were excellent and his help and experience and knowledge really helped us expand our knowledge and creativity

This time he hired me for his workshop at Thurston Lodge and also recommend me to some local photographers to fill my afternoon. He is very skilled at what he does and managed and run the workshop amazingly, making sure everyone got attention and had help when they needed it. His images are amazing and speak for themselves! Sebastian is an amazing friend and professional photographer. I remember first time we shoot together, straight away felt connection and could see - he’s an artist. I love the way he looks at you when taking picture , because he doesn’t look At you. He looks to the image , whole space he captures with camera. Light on skin , on face , in the eyes. He loves mood! He was the only one I could trust shooting nude for very first times and I couldn’t find more understanding and welcoming person as he is. Not talking about his postproduction on images! Love love love everything about his work and would highly recommend !

I was very very excited tp model for one of Sebastian Cartier’s lighting Worksop’s! Having worked with Sebastian before I knew he was an extremely talented photogropher and I knew that he really knew hs stuff - so I was very excited to see him in a workshop environment to see how he taught!

Well, of course, he was brilliant at that too! Sebastian is one of the loveliest photographers I know - he has such a calm relaxed presence but is still full of fun - and that really came across during the workshop so delegates felt very comfortable with him and comfortable to ask questions etc.

Sebastian made a real effort to make all delegates fell included in the shoot ! The delegates were at different levels of photography so Sebastian worked individually with the less experienced delegates while the more experienced delegates were shooting - in order to make sure no one missed anything and than no one was overlooked.

The lighting set- ups Sebastian created and taught were just stunning!! I was really impressed with the set-ups and feel so glad to have been the model!

Sebastian - Truly Talented person - A great photographer, incredible editor, super lovely person and a brilliant teacher! Of course I recommend him!

Sooooo lovely to be shooting with this amazingly talented man again!

Our shoot was certainly a success, we started even taking a couple of shots in the coffee shop where we met, before trying out various locations around Cambridge. I explained I needed some updated headshots/portraits and had also rented some headwear from Jayne Elizabeth Millinery to use. From this brief, we tried several different looks and had a gemuinely amazing time doung so. On hand to help with posing (harder when working in natural light as tricky working out where the light is) but I loved the BOC images and already received an edit! A true professional, with a laid back approach. Shoors are guaranteed to be fun, with such high class images being produced. Genuinely cannot recommend enough!!
