  I'm Seamas

 I'm sort of a figure painter (that's where my education is), but more of a jack of all disciplines.  I have worked freelance as a Life Drawing instructor in Schools, Universities and Design companies, I also teach children's art. But I found most success in Production Art for TV, Films and Theatres.ive worked as a Scenic Painter, Animator, and have produced a few short films as well. At one point I was working in other countries and even worked as an animator for an Oscar winner on a project that was also nominated for an Oscar.

  As grand as that sounds, I am my own worst art enemy with some serious debilitating imposter syndrome. I now have a day job in Belfast and spend evenings and weekends on my art. Most recently I've been enjoying 3D virtual art and animation.  I am on the look out for models I can use to create character textures for.  My goal is to create animated characters that are almost real that I can use for drawing lessons to prepare people for real life models 😅

  Apart from art, my other passions are music and fitness. Though I am currently a bit chubby and weak, I have leaned down before and competed in Powerlifting for a short stint. When I was younger I competed in martial arts and represented the Republic of Ireland in the World Championships in Beijing, and though I wasn't actually that great at either of these sports, fitness has always been a part of my life.  I even considered modeling when I was quite lean haha 😅.

  I've saved the best for last. I have a beautiful wife and one son which was part of why I stopped globe trotting and got a day job. But they are my world and it is absolutely no sacrifice, I traded up basically 😜.
