References for Scott life photography

Scott life photography put up a casting yesterday that was right up my street, location and unusual at that. I was delighted when he selected me to work with. He hadn't done much photography just lately dues to one reason or another so I was quite nervous although not as nervous as he should have been ha ha - booking me could be enough to put you off for life :')

Thankfully or rather hopefully I haven't.

We had a great shoot, we'll worth the trek for the epic location. It rocked!!!! Credit to Darren as well, it must have been one of the most difficult 'subjects' to light, I wouldnt have fancied trying but he did an excellent job!!

To surmise, he had to endure incessant yabbering from me whilst we trekked fields, had to light one of the most difficult scenarios ever, helped me not break my neck in stilettoes - it was virtual blackness and still came out smiling and with great pics. Thats what you call patience. Respect!!

Thank you Darren, hope fully I will get the chance to work with you again. Very much recommended!!

Darren and I had a shoot today. And I have to say - an absolute pleasure working with him. He knows his trade and is very professional while still being laid back and humorous. Definitely recommending and hopefully we will work together again some time soon.

Studio78 Leicester

Darren booked Studio78 for a two hour model shoot and his pre shoot communication was excellent and paid promptly for the booking.

On the day of the shoot Darren was an absolute pleasure to chat and work with and was very respectful of the studio space and equipment.

I would certainly recommend Darren and hope he comes back to the studio again. Really looking forward to seeing the images he took on the day.

Darren booked me as the model for the recent group shoot/ workshop with Andrew Appleton up at the Forge in Sheffield and I am so grateful that he did.

The location was awesome- cold with it being the middle of January but totally worth it!

I love working with this fantastic group of photographers and there's always something different each time.

I was picked up in the morning and dropped off at home afterwards, allowed to warm up in between set ups in front of the open fire and have enough breaks from the cold.

Overall a great guy to work with; reliable, good and clear communications, professional ,polite and easy to talk to :)

Highly recommended from me and we're hopefully arranging another shoot very soon.

Really enjoyed my group shoot with Scott and the rest of the guys at there group shoot at the forge a few weeks ago. They are a friendly bunch of chaps who are very relaxed to shoot for. They are loose with their ideas and there shoot was very much tailored to my talents and interests. They were respectful fun and came complete with plenty of coffee as promised I would love to shoot with them again and would definitely recommend them.

Darren organised another studio day for me up at Barlow studio a couple of weeks ago.

Although I was feeling very much under the weather, the shoot was fantastic,

The ideas, concepts and direction were all great. I felt totally comfortable with what was expected of me and Darren was extremely kind in taking me to and from the studio :)

I had a great day and would highly recommend Darren to other models and it is always a pleasure to work with him.

I worked with Darren for the first time yesterday at Barlow Studios, and although it was a jaffa-less day, I had so much fun and enjoyed the whole day. Pre-coms were great and he was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived at the studio. What a pleasure it was to finally work with Darren after talking about plans at the end of last year! This date came around so fast and Darren put great effort into organising a studio day with me and Kate Anne and pre communication for this was very good :)

Darren is very professional and makes any model feel at ease, direction is given when needed and I also felt fairly free to do my own thing.

Darren also looks after his models well, made sure I ate something and even gave me a lift there and back to the studio seeing as though I am on the way which was awfully kind of him :)

Darren is very much highly recommended to both models and photographers who are in need of a good organiser! :) Thank you for choosing me to be one of your models and I hope we work together soon, whether it be a 1-1 or another group day! :)

I have known Darren for over a year and we've always discussed working together. Well 2 weeks ago we finally did, it was a fantastic start to the year!

Darren booked me for one of his fantastic group shoots at Barlow Studios in Chesterfield. Darren is funny, professional, laid back and respects the model.

Normally on group shoots it is very rushed but not at Darren's. I was able to take my time perfecting my look so the photographers could achieve the shot they wish.

It was a fabulous day and if any models get approached to model for such an event then do it! A fantastic day with amazing ideas and amazing results :).

I worked with Darren on a studio day at Barlow. He arranged everything super easily and very kindly gave a me a lift from the station. He had some really fun ideas that I really enjoyed working on. He was chatty, down to earth and really easy to work with. i had a fantastic day, everything flowed very well and things never got tiresome. Plus plenty of tea and biccies on hand too! Worked with Darren for the 1st time yesterday after he booked me for a 7hour group shoot at Barlow Studio. We got on great, had a laugh and created some awesome shots! Darren knew exactly what he wanted to get out of the days shoot and its safe to say we got it too!! I hope to work with him again!! Lovely guy, Great tog and certainly recommended by me :)

Solo studio

Darren has used the studio plenty of times before, he is trustworthy, prompt and a general all round nice guy. I've seen him work improve steadily over time which is great to see!

I had a great shoot with Darren yesterday!! He kept in contact so I knew exactly what was going on at all times! He was really just a joy to work with, a real gent and was really creative with ideas too! He dropped the images round to my house on the same day which was brilliant as it meant that I could see the days work there and then!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a shoot with him as the images were amazing too!! I look forward to working with him again in the near future! :)

Had my first shoot with Darren on friday, he was on time, he was more than happy for me to bring a friend to put me at ease, he drove us to the location he had picked, which was stunning, the shoot was in a waterfall which was freezing cold, after a good few shots I asked if we could wrap up, and he was more than happy to. Very professional, good images, would happily work with again and would recommend.
