I hired Douglas for my wedding day which was magical and he suggested fantastic locations for our wedding shots close to where we got married. We were extremely pleased that he could bring our fairytale to life and have worked with him since. He is an amazing photographer who I would highly recommend and I look forward to working with him again and again.

Scotography is an amazing photographer. It was a really pleasant day of shooting. He brought a beautiful blue dress and accessories to the photoshoot. He was fun to work with and had great ideas! I Would definitely shoot with him again in the future!

I recently shot with Douglas over in sunny Portugal!!

Douglas happened to be there on a holiday as I was there for work- so we met up for a few hours one day and shot in the villa I was staying in that week.

In the short time we had we managed to work our way through a great variety of genres and I am super pleased with the results!

It would be super to work with Douglas again one day- be it in Scotland, or abroad again in warmer climates ;)

I have had the pleasure of shooting with Douglas on a few occasions now and it’s been a blast each time. Douglas is great with communication and organisation of what the shoot will entail. A gentlemen and well respectful on shoots as well as making sure you are always okay and happy.

We scouteded for locations and covered a variety of outfits and locations. Full of energy and ideas for lighting and detail: we produced beautiful images and planning our next shoot.

I had the pleasure of working with Douglas at my studio day at RedDawn in Aberdeen. He's a lovely man and had lots of fun ideas to try out! He works fast and from what I saw we got some very lovely pictures. I look forward to working with him again one day! Highly recommended.

I shot with Douglas for the first time while in Aberdeen at the weekend. Although our shoot didn't go as planned (thanks to the weather and the castle being closed :( ) we still got on with it and got some great images thanks to his great ideas. Douglas is a lovely guy and a true gentleman, his communications before and during the shoot were spot on! Overall it was a lovely day and Douglas is just lovely.

I can't wait to work with him again in the future and I highly recommend to any model.

I had a lovely time shoot with Douglas up on my mini tour in Aberdeen with model La Belle Eve. The shoot had to improvised as the gorgeous location Douglas picked was sadly closed.

We had a lot of fun trying to make the most of our surroundings and using every part of the area possible to create some great shots.

Would recommend Scotography to anyone and hopefully we can shoot again sometime soon.

I had a delightful shoot with Douglas last week during my tour in Scotland. He is fantastic photographer to work with!

We explored some of the coastline between Montrose and Aberdeen, getting in many different looks and scenes. Douglas was fantastic full of great ideas and the shots seen so far and awesome! I look forward to seeing more :)

Douglas's pre comms were fantastic and he is a genuinely lovely guy. I hope i have the chance to shoot with him again.

After what seems like years of discussions, I finally had the opportunity to shoot with Douglas on his visit to Lochaber...and what a fantastic shoot it was!!

Douglas is a joy to work with, first class communication pre, during and post shoot and he works well with the model to gain the best possible images. We managed to shoot on location at the cottage he was staying at and at some of the stunning locations in Lochaber, and the areas he picked where perfect for the style of shoot. Not only a true professional but also a great photographer, easy to work with, an easy going friendly polite person and his top priority is the safety and wellbeing of the model. He even treated me and my partner to a coffee and hot chocolate after the shoot!!

I VERY highly recommend Douglas to everyone, a great shoot guaranteed and many FAB images too, I have seen a couple from our shoot and love them! A credit to the industry and an individual who clearly loves what he does.

Thank you again Douglas, cant wait for the next shoot...which I promise wont be such a long wait :)

Another wonderful shoot with Douglas!

Despite a few hiccups with the location choice and the length of time we had, I'm sure we got some lovely images from our shoot and it was great to catch up with him and shoot again :)

Always have fun in his company, he's a great guy to be around and looks after you extremely well (he even had a changing tent which came in very handy on the windy beach - talk about prepared!!)

Happily recommend him :)

Had a great shoot with Douglas recently. Not only have we created some really special images I'm sure a great friendship has been formed. Could not recommend this photographer any more!

Lots of communication before, during and post shoot, easy to work with, prepared, comes with ideas, very easy to approach and more than happy to deal with any questions or requests re photographs/editing. Great guy all round.

He had some great props/outfits with him and some fun, quirky ideas too, the shoot flew by and I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with him and having another shoot.

It was lovely working with Douglas again this morning. We got some fabulous images at our first location, unfortunately the last part of our shoot was hijacked by scouts which meant we didn't get as much done as we hoped but he was still in high spirit and we still had a laugh together.

It's always a pleasure seeing him and hopefully next time will go smoother haha :)

Douglas and I shot together this summer and I really enjoyed our shoot. He was full of ideas, friendly and nice to work with as he established a good rapport with me from the start. Even though we didn't have much time he effortlessly came up with all sorts of varied compositions.

He knew what he was doing but was also open to my input, which I did appreciate.

Me and Douglas had a fantastic shoot this evening :) Douglas is over in Jersey for the week and we got talking about the potential for a shoot, his communications are friendly and we came up with a few ideas easily.

Douglas is easy to get on with and very professional, while we were shooting I was really impressed by how quickly Douglas was able to get the great shots he was looking for!

Definitely a highly recommended photographer, I'd certainly work with Douglas again :)

Douglas came with his own props and clothes for me to wear which was great.

Douglas has a great eye for what he wants and the quality of his photographey skills shows in his work.

Had a great shoot with Douglas at my home whilst he was in my area! He turned up on time, was polite and respectful throughout the shoot and we had a great time getting some images together. I'm very glad I got the chance to work with him after missing out on my Scotland tour. Hope to work with him again in the future and would definitely recommend!
