The last time I worked with Simon was September 2012...Almost 7 years ago!!

I pinged Simon on the off chance to see if he fancied working with me again- lucky for me he said yes, and proceeded to take me to some incredible locations!! I am SOOO excited to see the results!!

The shoot was productive, but super chilled. Simon doesn't take a ton of images- once he has it, that's it and we move on- a good way to work!

Really enjoyed the shoot- even if I did get back a bit late and knackered ;) Bahaha- I won't mention directions ;) ;)

Thanks Simon, really do hope we can do it again some time- but hopefully before 2026!! ;)

Simon was fantastic to work with, doing the magic with an autumn colours shoot idea. He came up with a great locations, lots of creative input and skilled judgement , gave me helpful directions when needed, tirelessly worked on suggestions and ideas and produced a couture item (no less!) that people keep asking me about. The results were fantastic,I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Simon and would work with him again in a blink of an eye.

Had a terrific first shoot with Simon on Friday in Edinburgh. After many technological glitches with our phones apparently not syncing, we managed to meet up on my mini Scottish tour and take some lovely ballet and art nude images at beautiful locations Simon had scouted. Simon is a talented photographer- I really loved the images he showed me on the back of his camera, and that made modelling nude (or topless, with a tutu) in January and climbing a steep hill to get to our location, really worthwhile.

Highly recommended, and I hope we will work together again. Thank You. :)

I had such an awesome day out with Simon alongside another photographer Stu.

The 2 of them bounce off each other like a double act, which makes the day very entertaining and full of laughs :)

It was an incredibly cold day out but they looked after me so well and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. It makes such a difference when photographers care about your well being and really try their hardest to make the cold as bearable as they can! It instantly makes you want to work harder for them and from what I saw on the back of the camera it really was worth the cold :D

Can't wait to see some results!

Not only that but they also treat me to a yummy pub lunch AND a sharing platter of desserts :O Winner!

I was approached by Stuart Hyland to work with both him and Simon on a location shoot in Aberdeen, an area that they were new to. I made a few suggestions including Slain's Castle, where we ended up shooting. He spent the whole day ensuring that I was warm enough and happy whilst he and Stuart sorted out the shots. The two of them have a great rapport which made it a pleasure to work with both of them together. The whole day was a lot of fun and I would not only love to work with them both again, but I would definitely recommend them.

I contacted Simon for a dance based photo shoot whilst I was in Scotland. He was very keen and very helpful all the way through communications before the shoot.

I was very grateful he allowed me to bring another dancer along, we had another on the day and he was absolutely fine with an extra model and adapted the shoot straight away.

He was incredibly creative and was also willing to give our ideas a try.

Any models out there looking for a very very good photographer who will also consider your ideas Simon is absolutely great!

I contact a few local photographers in Edinburgh whilst I was going to be on tour, Simon got back to me with a straight to the point reply, no email tennis.

I shot with both Simon n Stuart full day on location around some amazing beauty spots!

Both photographers were considerate, and respected you like a professional person, also making sure I didn't get too cold throughout the day, fed and watered :)

We arranged to meet up again for Simon to kindly take me back to a stunning location so I could get the chance to take some pics, which was just an amazing experience for me!

I worked with Simon and co-photographer Stu H during my recent visit to Edinburgh and would not hesitate to recommend him!

We visited a range of locations and shot both art-nude and fashion- I was put immediately at ease and had a great rapport with both photographers who made sure I was okay throughout as well as making me laugh!

Communications were great from the start and Simon put up with my crazy ideas and excitable wildlife-related bouncing around wonderfully! The pictures looked great in the camera and I'm looking forward to working together again. :)

I had a fantastic outdoor shoot with Simon back in October.

Simon had scouted a couple of really cool locations only days before we had arranged the shoot.

Simon promptly picked me up at the station, drove us to numerous locations and then back to the station or perhaps he actually dropped me in town.. It's my own fault for not remembering as I am a little late in posting this reference!

Simon was really good fun to work with, respectful and pleasant.

I would recommend Simon to others and I do hope that we get the chance to work together in the near future.

I had a long awaited second shoot with Simon during my recent Scottish tour and it was just as much fun as the first shoot. Simon has a great, creative approach to his photography, and a wonderful eye for lighting and composition. As with our first shoot, Simon found some lovely locations and produced some great images. He's fun and chatty to work with, besides being considerate of the model's comfort, especially important on an outdoor shoot. I would definitely recommend Simon, and of course hope to work with him again! Ruby :D

I had a short but productive shoot today with Simon out on location. Simon took me to a great ruined castle and we got some great shots. It was very chilly but Simon made sure I was OK throughout the shoot and warm enough. Chrissie Red came too and helped out by looking out for walkers and we all had a blast. :D I hope to work with Simon again one day. Thank you Simon! :)

I have worked alongside Simon on several shoots, both standard and alternative lighting, and is a great source of inspiration and has helped me to develop as a photographer. He has an easy-going manner and superb communication skills and is not afraid to go the extra mile to get *the* shot.

If you get a chance to work with Simon – take it, you won’t regret it.

Had my second shoot with Simon on 28th Jan and again it went great. Even for the second shoot he still strived to get the images I wanted out of it. He works hard and has a great eye for detail. Looking forward to more shoots with him.
