References for Saracen House Studio

I had my debut model day at Saracen house last month and can't believe it's taken this long!

We sold out the event months ago and even managed to fill 10 hour instead of the usual 8, and despite numerous cancellations still ended with 10hours of shoots on the day :)!

The whole day was ran incredibly well and Andrew is a great host :)

I've already booked in my next studio event with him, next time being a weekend because a day just isn't enough! Looking forward to it already :D

Always a pleasure being booked for a shoot at Saracen House. I've lost count how many times I've visited, I was booked for a shoot last Wednesday and I'm back again this Friday. Yay.

A warm welcome, a pretty good cuppa and a lovely natter!

The studio is always tidy and clean, unless someone went crazy with glitter(like our shoot in January). Andrew is always very helpful with lighting and helping the photographer achieve the desired look.

I've kind of created a habit that I need to always arrive with cake.

I approached Andrew to do my first ever studio day several months ago, and Andrew's communication has been absolutely first class from day one. He answered any questions I had, and helped put my nerves at ease. Between us both, we managed to sell all the slots a week before the day itself, which I was overjoyed with!

On the studio day itself, I arrived 30 seconds before Andrew did and he was lovely enough to help me carry my mass of bags in! He also made sure I knew everything was and that I was looked after throughout the day. The facilities are fantastic and the changing room had everything I needed. Andrew's assistance with lighting was great too, and he really knows his stuff!

I would highly recommend Saracen House again and again. One day I shall return! Thank you!

This isn't the first time I've shot at Saracen House Studios, but I've been lamentably lax about leaving a reference!

What can I say?

The facilities are top notch, the arrangements for booking are superb, the rates are exceptionally reasonable, and Andrew couldn't possibly be more encouraging or helpful.

Shooting at Saracen has made a significant impact on my development in photography - I can't recommend it highly enough!

I shot at Saracen House yesterday. I knew I was going to have a good shoot because of the model.

But the studio. What can I say?

The whole experience of using the studio was almost perfect.

From when I first contacted Andrew (the owner) when we discussed studio availability, sorted a mutually agreeable date, payment and e-mail confirmation. To the suitably gentle "auto text/e-mail" reminder of the shoot date. (It was a month from when I had made the booking.) Was great.

Arrival at the studio continued to be as good as my first impression of the business had been.

The arrival was greeted with a good friendly handshake and immediate offer of a coffee/tea for both myself and model. The model was shown into a really nice bright, airy and clean dressing room. I was shown around the studio and the lights were demonstrated to me. (They were of a make I had not seen or heard of before but were excellent.) The lay out of the studio is really good two areas having excellent natural light. the third has just as good lighting, and, as I found out later could have access to more natural light. All of the studio areas were clean and warm for the model to work to her levels. The help with solving an angle problem I was having quickly and cheerfully resolved.

At the end of the shoot Andrew was able to direct me to an excellent "vegan" restaurant in Milton Keynes.

Both myself and the model "Lisi" found the whole experience of working at Saracen House a real joy.

To quote the model "It is the best studio she has ever been in." And she is a mature, many year

experienced model.

It is just the way for a studio to be run.

The one fault that I have with the studio? It's a bit far from where I live. But I shall be looking to use the facilities again in the not too distant future.

I have shot at Saracen House several times now and twice in recent weeks. The studio is always clean, tidy and nice and warm. Andrew makes great tea and ensures he is always there if the photographers or models need anything during their visit. The lighting is nice and bright and there are big mirrors in the changing area which I love! Highly recommended x

Andrew is by far the nicest studio owner I've come across in the 9 years i have modeled for now, It's always a pleasure to work there and i always look forward to being welcomed with a cup of tea and hours of putting the world to rights with lots for laughs and banter! He's a fantastic photographer and genuinely cares about his studio and the welfare of his models and clients and the studio it's self is extremely well run. The studio is welcoming, clean and nice and warm.

The teas a bit dodgy but i think that's the Milton Keynes water ;-)

I look forward to coming back again.

Great studio. Always happy to help with whatever it is you need for your shoot. I love the fact you can have the conventional studio set up downstairs while at the same time have a set set up upstairs too. It allows to get a large variety of shots very quickly and has enabled me to make the people I was shooting very happy! You will not be disappointed, highly recomended.

I have worked at Saracen House twice now over a 4 year period. It is now as good as i remember, the range of lighting equipment and backdrops is amazing, the friendly atmosphere remains as good as i remember and Andys tea is the icing on the already delicious cake. I would recommend this studio to all.. :)

Well, I FINALLY shot at Saracen house!! It's taken me well over 6 years but today was the day :)

Great studio, super changing room, clean, warm- all the lights and help you could need. Andrew was friendly, very helpful and I had a great time! :)

I was lucky enough today to be one of the first to sample the facilities at the new Saracen House Studio.

I was a frequent user of the former premises which were terrific but the new premises are formidable. Albeit not yet completely finished (a few cosmetic adjustments still being done, but the facilities and the attention to detail put in by Andrew are really magical.

Congratulations Andrew and may the new studio you go from strength to strength which i am sure it will.

Had yet another great shoot today at Saracen House Studio. This time with the very beautiful Alice (Blonde 94.

Andrew Griffiths is always so willing to go the extra mile which makes for a very satisfying and successful shoot.

Even when on holiday, Andrew ensures that the shop is well minded by David Wellbelove, who is clearly a cut from the same mould. (Something wrong with my metaphors here but I'm sure you know what I mean).

I have just enjoyed yet another shoot at the delightful studio owned and run by Andre Griffiths.

I have lost count as to how many times I have visited Saracens House which in itself speaks volumes. Andrew is one of the most knowledgeable and technically experienced photographers one could ever wish to meet: ever helpful and always willing to go that extra mile to ensure one has a successful and enjoyable shoot.

This is now of course at the new and improved premises, which Andrew has worked like a Trojan to get up and running as soon as possible. The facilities are awesome and for anyone who has not had the pleasure of visiting Saracen House, I suggest you seek a session as soon as possible. Yu will not be disappointed. Oh, and the coffee is good too.

More importantly Andrew Griffiths is the epitome of the perfect host, always helpful and most obliging and of course, his knowledge of photography is second to none.

I feel i must, therefore, put forward another reference and advise that I could not recommend a better studio to anyone.

I shot at Saracen House this evening and cannot fault the studio. The range of shooting set ups is excellent and the lighting second to none. Andrew had to have a stand in to help out, being otherwise engaged, but I got all the help with finding things, changing set ups, cups of coffee etc that I needed without any sense of being observed at all. Delightful scenario from a photographer's point of view. And the place was warm! Highly recommend this studio and just wish it were closer to where I live.

My first visit to Saracen House last weekend shooting Theresa Louise, and it won't be my last. Lots of different options to shoot from boudoir to a variety of studio setups, the lighting is absolutely first class and modern and easy to use and Andrew and Dave (who assisted and advised three rookies throughout the session) were both very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, thanks guys - we'll see you again soon hopefully!

I feel the need to write another reference for this outstanding studio. Saracen has become one of my second homes and I honestly can't thank Andrew enough for 2015. It was an amazing year for me and of course the studio had a big part to play with all the shoots I have arranged there.

Andrew is always so full of life and takes so much pride in his business. He is always there to assist with lighting, moving furniture and of course making a cuppa.

Andrew has recently updated the sets at the studio and now got the best lighting equipment out there :)

There is absolutely nothing to fault with this studio or its owner ;)
