I am a mature hobbyist photographer who has joined this site to make contact with Models and Photographers in the hope of gaining experience and being able to produce better images than I do at present.
Just a hobby for me and hoping that in my retirement from the armed forces I can enjoy communicating and having an interest that will challenge me equal to the life that is now in the past in a more relaxed medium...!!
Now looking into building an LED light ring for portrait work, as I prefer to get the image onto the camera at point of contact as opposed to adjustment with software, it would be interesting experimenting with different types of lighting effects. I would like to use this as a way of creating alternative images.
Like 'they' say...you are never too old to LEARN.... so I hope I can learn from more experienced people on this site.
