Simon contacted me to do an assisted remote shoot, with J Black Photographic on hand throughout, and it was a joy to be his first one! His pre shoot communications were excellent, well thought out and properly planned which are all critical in the planning of a remote shoot! I knew exactly what he wanted to shoot and where, with a mood board being used throughout the shoot as well to help us stay on track. During the shoot itself, Simon was polite and professional, never being afraid to ask for changes at any point.

I'd highly recommend working with Simon and look forward to doing so in the future, either in person or remotely! :D

Simon arranged a remote shoot with us and was a total dream to work with. His pre shoot communications were excellent which is vital for a remote shoot, thud the shoot itself flowed smoothly. During the shoot he wasn't afraid to have us move things, and change the settings whenever the lighting needed it. His eye for detail is exquisite, noticing even the finest of details.

Simon was polite and professional throughout the shoot, yet still remained freight and approachable, which again is super important for a remote shoot.

Simon had great pre comms with Angel with a clear plan on everything what was required in the shoot time.

Very polite and all round great photographer who directed Angel as well as giving her time to freestyle her poses.

The captures looked superb on the back of the camera and really looking forward to seeing the finished results.

From the moment I arrived he put me at ease with a warm and professional welcome. He new exactly what he wanted to achieve and was very kind in showing the pictures throughout and going through his ideas each step of the way. Great communication and direction when needed. Shoot was alot of fun as Simon has a great personality and it's very easy to see the passion he has for his work. Had the pleasure to work with Simon.

He came in touch for a boudoir shoot in a nice hotel in Glasgow. Great communication and organization. Ideas clearly communicated and explained, details of the hotel and contacts on hand.

The room was actually good for shooting and very spacious.

From a photography point of view, Simon was very well prepared and fully equipted. Great camera, several lences to combine with multiple ideas an results, portable umbrellas, and softboxes, allowed multiple original lighting settings.

Simon is also an excellent director. The ideas for the shoots were clear and always pragmatically kept mind, and he knows what pose he is after and guides you to achieve that. Always kind showing the pictures and discussing ideas.

Great interesting person, defined photography style and personality, a pleasure to work with.

I genuelly recommend Simon, 10 out of 10!

Had an amazing boudoir shoot with Simon. He made me feel really comfortable, helped me with poses as it was one of my first boudoir shoots. He also had a great music taste which also helped me relax a lot haha!

Simon is very friendly, talked me through what the plan was and has a great sense of humour. I received really beautiful images from the shoot and hopefully I will get to work with Simon again in the future!

AAhhhh! This was a brilliant first boudoir shoot for both of us! I couldn't have picked a better photographer for popping my boudoir cherry. Aside from being totally professional and easy to get along with, Simon is a great photographer, really knows his stuff and has all the best equipment! Communication before the shoot was on point and he picked me up and dropped me off at the station, with minutes to spare for my return journey! Super friendly and would highly recommend him to any model. (Sorry this is a day late)Oh forgot to say, the images are incredible. Cant wait to see more!
