Shot with Ruth for the 38th time!(really)

Communication:

Definitely good at communication always keeps in touch and is communicative at all stages.

Communicated well pre-shoot and throughout.

We kept in touch over a period of time.

Had ideas and themes for the shoot and made the effort and was ready to shoot as soon as I arrived.

Personality:

Hospitable always inc biscuits.

Friendly warm and easy to get on with and allows me to practice my skills without being too precious about images if it dont work. That said I would always deliver. Certainly not a diva.

Easy to work with always and makes a huge effort.

Easygoing and happy to go with the flow. Knows her limits and what is capable of.

Look:

Has assets certainly and uses them well.

Had a repertoire of poses that she delivered as required within her limits.

Friend:

Shot so many times they are now my friend as well as a model.

Another enjoyable and productive studio session with Ruth.

We had outlined in advance some ideas that we wanted to try and we worked through those ideas, with diversions here and there as fresh ideas occurred to us.

Ruth is always very easy to work with. She is receptive to any ideas or suggestions that are put to her and offers plenty of her own to keep things interesting. It’s a great basis for a successful collaboration.

As always, Ruth gets a resounding recommendation from me.

I shot with Ruthie this weekend and it was an absolute pleasure. She's such a wonderfully open and friendly person who brings a lot of experience and personality to a shoot. We had perfect communication before and during the shoot which was a very collaborative event. Her ieas and mine synced up well and we made some great images which I hope we'll both be proud of.

Will definitely work with her again and strongly recommend her to any 'togs looking for a model in this area.

Second session with Ruthie at her home. Obviously I love working with her or I wouldn't have come back for a second bite of the peach so soon. I can't recommend her enough. She's so calm, helpful and thoughtful with the poses. Just a lovely woman. Thanks, Ruthie for a wonderful day! And apart from having a lot of laughs, we got some fantastic pictures out of it.

I had another great shoot with Ruth following a prolonged period away from photography. I had barely picked up a camera in 2 years but decided to try my hand at nude photography once again. As ever Ruth was an absolute delight to work with, full of good humour, ideas and enthusiasm. She made my return easier than I'd anticipated and it was although I'd never been away. Ruth comes thoroughly recommended.

A second shoot with Ruth after quite some time on her visit to the West Country. Ruth is a delight to work with, professional and fun and with a nice selection of outfits and accessories. I highly recommend Ruth and look forward to the next shoot when she visits.

She is always great to work with, she had many ideas of her own which worked well and complemented what I had in mind. Shot with Ruthie many many times and she is my friend.

That aside she is also reliable, and courageous, and always has a desire for great images.

Whilst she has limitations she is upfront about it and we always work on other strengths and she pushes herself as much as she can.

We always find something to shoot and we always give it our best to deliver.

Always communicative and always looking for more shoot opportunities.

You will struggle to find a model with a better approach and enthusiasm.

Highly recommended as always.

Had a first shoot with this wonderful character.

Initially scheduled a shoot about 3 years ago, and for one reason or another several times a shoot was unable to go ahead.

Until

Now….

Firstly showed up to a lovely welcome and cup of tea then proceeded to spend a few hours having a great laugh and shooting several styles of images. Great laugh along the way and this lady goes out of her way to try and accommodate any requests…

Lovely model and lovely company…. If she’ll put up with me again we’ll shoot again …. 😎

Finally! Ruthie and I managed to get our calendars together and we had an amazing session yesterday. I don't 'shoot', I'm an artist and I draw from life. It's a different challenge for a photo model if they have not done it before. Ruthie was fantastic. Her pre-coms were excellent. She accommodated me (and my messy inks) in her home with great patience and generosity. However bizarre my suggestions (why don't you lie on the table but pretend you are on the beach?) she was up for it. I absolutely loved working with her and it's no wonder she is such a popular model. She is real and friendly and makes a great cup of coffee. We had a brilliant time and produced a whole bunch of excellent and surprising artworks we were very proud of. So happy to have finally worked with her and I can't wait to do it all again. Love this woman!

I had the great pleasure of another studio shoot with Ruth yesterday.

We had been bouncing ideas around since our last shoot. Ruth excelled herself in assembling an outfit for a steampunk themed set and proceeded to catch exactly the right mood as she posed. Our second set revolved around a clear, see-through raincoat and gelled strobes. To round off a varied session we finished up with some rope work, some pre-planned and some off the cuff.

Despite a number of health issues, Ruth rises to every challenge with a great ‘can do’ attitude, and that’s not just bravado. She really can do it.

Ruth works hard to get the best from a shoot, while enlivening proceedings with her sparkling sense of humour. It’s a delight to work with her.

I definitely recommend Ruth to any photographer looking to create something different.

Caught up with Ruth again, this time at her place.

Always good fun and willing to throw herself into all aspects of the shoot, time flies by with multiple outfits and sets. Great to chat to, easy going and helps to get some great results. Sure we'll be shooting again soon.

Always a pleasure to shoot with Ruthie, reliable and well organised and prepared as ever. This time a 2 hour shoot at the Lavender fields in Eynsford on a glorious sunny day in July. Pre-shoot plans were excellent, a few great outfits well suited to the shoot, unrushed and a fun shoot from start to finish. Just two minor issues, the Parasol Ruthie got had shrunk, and the Wicker Basket I ordered arrived a day late. I finally had the pleasure of working with with Ruthie and what an enjoyable and productive first shoot it was.

Pre shoot communications were excellent and she brought everything we needed for our ideas.

Ruthie is a very experienced model needed very little direction from me. We chatted and laughed in between sets and the shoot went on very quickly indeed.

Another shoot with the amazing Ruthie, catching up at last after a while of miss aligned dates each of us were unable to match on. A wonderful sunny day and so well worth the wait. Ruth was a real pleasure to work with as usual, fun, confident, relaxed and willing to try new ideas and impulsive shots and poses. A pleasure and a delight, Highly recommended and we have already sketched out our next shoot plan and date to make sure its not so long a break between shoots.
