Another awesome session with this amazing photographer and person at his fantastic studio space, Bad Karma Photography Studio in Aberdeen, doing a mixture of portrait through to artistic nude styles.

Spot on communications leading up to our shoot, Bill had tonnes of creative ideas and our shoot went by way too quickly. Very understanding also as my pre booked bus was cancelled but luckily there was another one I managed to get at a slightly later time meaning I was 15 minutes late and Bill was super understanding, we did thankfully manage to make the time up. 🙏

An incredible shoot with striking results, Bill is always very welcoming, friendly, helpful, respectful and makes sure you are comfortable with everything. Very knowledgeable and skilled with out of the box ideas and experimenting with different concepts and lighting set ups.

So highly recommended to all creatives. Do not miss out on a shoot with Bill.

Such a fun shoot and I loved the images we achieved.

What an amazing person and photographer! I spend exellent afternoon with compagny the Bill.

I was so excited to work with him and our shoot did not disappoint. The ideas I had in my head came out even better on the camera. He is a natural at finding the right angles that works for you. He is very chill and cool i have a lot of fun to work with him.

He take care about good temperature in studio and about my coffee.

I already see few images and look very pretty.

I recommend Bill to 100% and hope we can work together again in the near future.

We had spent several months planning an ensemble shoot with multiple set-ups over a couple of days and enlisted Bill to assist. His can-do attitude and enthusiasm were both very welcome on set given the timetable we were working to.

At the event of the actual shoot, Bill was tasked to shoot BTS images along with helping set changes. Again, he set to both tasks with vigour and really delivered.

While Darkedge Photography is an entity in their own right, I just wanted to thank and extoll the additional qualities they bring to set.

Had my second shoot with Bill on Sunday and yet again, had the best experience! We done another latex shoot (my favourite)!, along with experimenting new ideas with glitter, fruit and honey.

Bill (as always) made me feel really comfortable, had great chat and gave direction when needed. Between Bill and Lyka (the mua that came along with me) they put their ideas together and we nailed the looks we were going for!

I would recommend Bill to everyone and I can’t wait for our next shoot together!🤩 Thank you again!

I had my first ever Latex / fetish shoot with Bill and I had the best time. He made sure I was comfortable, and had a laugh. He had a great range of amazing outfits, shoes, props etc. We worked well in putting ideas together and produced some incredible images. I look forward to working with Bill again in the future!

I have worked with Bill ALOT and I mean ALOT. Bill is very caring natured man and very funny. He will make you feel at ease. Very genuine wee dude.

He is very passionate of his photography and has some brilliant ideas but also loves the back forth communication and always wants to try something new.

I have done collabs with Bill, I've done magazines with Bill.

We have even managed to get a front and back cover together of a great magazine.

So with this in mind you can tell he knows what he is doing. He is very informative about the industry and treats models with high levels of respect while also making it a fun laughing experience.

He will want you to get every great opportunity out of the industry possible and will try his hardest to make sure you succeed in a safe path.

I got to work with Bill again! I got to work with Bill again! HEY, guess what? I GOT TO WORK WITH BILL AGAINNNN! 😁😁😁

My latest road trip to Bonnie Scotland - what a joy it is to be able to do my long Keira-style tours again! Every day offering a different sort of magic - and the joy of being able to catch up with familiar faces again/people who you know you have an epic rapport with. 😃 I'm most certainly referring to Bill when I say that aha!

Sooo, what did we do this time? Where do I start?! 😅 Well, first of all - it's pretty much a known fact that Bill loves his latex, and ALWAYS has a neat set of options to try out (sometimes latex, sometimes other things as well!) This time was no different; and before we knew it, we had pastel/colour-popping rabbits, deadly red strappy numbers, scary clowns and much more! Ohh - we may also have attacked the poor unsuspecting Christmas tree/set with an evil fairy. 😆 Shooting with Bill never disappoints; he is a highly creative, imaginative and technically savvy genius who throws all his enthusiasm in the pot ready for splendid image-making and teamwork vibes.

Every look is met with equal care and attention to the lighting as the initial styling has been given.👌 Bill doesn't do things by half: if he's got a model in front of him donning a fabulous outfit, he's going to meet that with how he composes the shot/assembled the kit to light that sass up in the best possible way! And that's the way it should be. 😃 Why wouldn't you put a little extra effort in to produce images that are "BLOODY FANTASTIC" and not just "okay?" This is what I mean by Bill not doing things by half... He is 100% willing as a photographer to put the extra effort and time in to smash something which just has that next level sparkle. Can you tell I'm still buzzing about the results that came from our last shoot? 🤗

So I think I've clarified that I cannot give Bill enough credit from a photography/creative perspective... But what is he like to work with as a person? Bloody lovely. 😊 That's all I have to say! He's a top guy, has great sense of humour (someone you can have a good laugh with as you work). Your tea/coffee cup will never be empty working with this gent - bless him he even goes out and gets green tea in for me (I think I'm the only weirdo who comes to the studio and drinks the stuff too! 😄) The pace is always chill, yet suitably energised for the buzz of the shoot... Models are given full respect and courtesy to ensure they feel comfortable at all times. This matters a lot to Bill so he will always pull all the sops to make a model feel at ease - whatever their experience/levels or background. 🙂

So lots of good things to say about our shoot once again. Standard of course hehe!

He sent through images of what he was aiming for and worked well as a team to recreate shots.

My first shoot with Bill is a remarkable experience for which I can only recommend Darkedge Photography.

I arrived at the studio and I was surprised with some great and original sets ready for me. Bill is capable of endless inspiration and ideas, and he has never stopped surprising me during the whole shoot picking the outfit, and then putting it in a new genuine context.

Absolutely impressed by the photographer, and grateful I had the opportunity to work with such a lovely person.

Yay for another epic shoot with Bill! It’s been soooo long but I’m so glad we were able to work things around and plan a sesh of pure creativeness on my summer tour of Scotland! It’s all been a bit mad with planning these long tours this side of the lockdowns (and continues to be a bit!) hence why I’ve also been disgracefully late in getting a reference done... But I just can’t express how awesome it feels to be back on the road and shooting with/being looked after by utterly brill people in the creative circle once again. ☺️

I not only had a fab shoot with Bill on a one-to-one basis; but he also hosted/manned the studio (Red Dawn whilst Doug was away) for me for another booking on another day (same tour!) And was there to assist with lighting and go above and beyond to help me and my other photographer get some great stuff shot. 😃 Even if it’s just keeping the green teas coming - he was on it and so professional/accommodating, which is very highly appreciated when you’re working in venues which you may not visit all that often and the extra assistance to assemble lights/backdrops may be needed. 🙂 He also knows his stuff in general where operating a studio is concerned!

Our own shoot, well! It’s never a dull moment working with Bill... The time before we were trashing the joint with confetti and latex, this time we back on that latex bandwagon again (obviously as Bill acquires the coolest of outfits!) and then did a whole host of other creative shenanigans on top of that; from crystal lingerie to kicks and fashion-tastic stuff! A total mix, with all the right imaginative vibes and a superb flow of bouncing off each other! 😁 Bill really knows how to make an image pop; thus with each change I did to what I was wearing/makeup - Bill jazzed up the set to give it the extra punch and make the images really come alive! 🤩 He’s a great photographer, and deserves a lot of credit for it.

Lovely guy too: so chatty and friendly... I don’t think we once shut up throughout the entire shoot! 😂 The time flew by like a time machine was involved, the laughs and banter carrying it along the way. I felt really at ease working with Bill again, and can only give nothing but praise for his courtesy and respect. He has my recommendation for sure, and I’d be buzzing to get to work together again!

Comms were great, organisation was off to a tee - resulting images fantastic! Yep - all the boxes ticked! 😁

I had been chatting to Bill about arranging a shoot before lockdown and we finally got to do it today.

Pre communications were excellent and we both were very clear and concise about the kind of shots we were going for. (Cannot wait to see the edits )

The studio is amazing, plenty of space , various settings, flooring and backdrops and an Aladdins cave of props at your disposal. Do not miss out!

Shooting with Bill for the first time was a trial facetime photoshoot during lockdown. From the outset I knew that our first location shoot would be brilliant as we had a good level of communication about outfits and all concepts involved. We set clear ideas about what we wanted to achieve and he made sure to check what I was comfortable with. He completely understood the need for model safety checks and showed me references and portfolio upfront. There was no mucking about in arranging things, we set about making it happen. Have done more than 3 shoots now with Bill and will always be on call to do more. We did our first shoot at Aberdeen beach and went from beach dreamy style to a darker grunge look. I really enjoyed this shoot and we were full of ideas. Came away feeling very confident in his and my ability. As time has gone on Bill has been improving substantially and with the rebrand has also acquired a studio. We were quick to jump in with this opportunity and I've never been so glad for anything in my life. That studio shoot brought me out of my shell into the empowered young model I know I can be. He completely let me do whatever I was comfortable with. Was comfortable listening to my ideas and reviewing different outfits. Bill is a professional through and through in manner and result. That's not to say every shoot with him is not absolutely a brilliant time however as the need for seriousness dissipates once you get comfortable. I could shoot with him for hours and know that I will be happy with a great deal of those images. He also takes into consideration your preference when editing if there are suitable grounds for it. Cannot recommend enough. Many shoots in the planning for the coming year. Brilliant photographer

I really enjoyed my second shoot with Bill booking me together as a duo with the gorgeous Miss Edana1 for a hotel room shoot in Aberdeen doing some nude and latex styles together. Even though this was my first ever time working alongside Miss Edana1 we produced some excellent images together with Bill.

Communications with Bill were once again excellent and he was kind enough to book me through a last minute casting I had posted so we literally arranged me joining there solo shoot to make it a duo a day before the shoot and Bill was very accommodating booking a beautiful hotel room and he also brought along lots of lovely latex plus some crazy odd socks for some charity images he is doing which was very fun to pose in.

A very professional and passionate photographer full of ideas and so creative. He is respectful, friendly and is always making sure his models are happy with everything and safe.

I highly recommend Bill to all creatives, he is very fun to spend your time shooting with, you will produce excellent results and be back for more.

Bill is very creative and unconventional which is an amazing opportunity to get involved with, so thankful he allowed me to partake in this unforgettable shoot . My first experience with latex, I really enjoyed it and Bill was very calm, caring and helpful. One of the best photographers I worked with. Nice sexy shots.
