Had a brilliant shoot with Ruby a while ago - professional, funny and didnt even mind my taste in music! Really engaged with my thoughts but also brought a lot to the table to make things go even better.

Working with Ruby has been fantastic, starting from the first email.

She was precise and fast at communicating and showed interest in my ideas. We discussed and agreed on a few things about makeup, plus the basic idea for the shoot through a moodboard, and she came to the studio perfectly on time, as agreed, and ready to shoot. She came with the most unobtrusive chaperone ever, who didn't even set foot in the shooting area once (extra kudos for that!)

During the shoot, she was ready to interpret different moods and emotions, following my ideas and adding something personal, which definitely improved what I had initially planned. On top of that, she was really lovely to work with and talk to.

I am pleased with the images we created together, and I hope there will be an opportunity to work together soon again. Thank you for being my model for one day, Ruby!

I had hoped to work at some point with Ruby for quite a while. When the opportunity came up to make our second music video for My Dying Bride (commissioned by Nuclear Blast Records), the storyline that emerged seemed perfect for her look.

From initial contact to checking in on how everything went with the rest of the shoot and even to seeing how we were with final results, Ruby was astoundingly professional. Some mutual friends had mentioned that you could even throw a point-and-shoot camera at her, totally unprepared and at high speed and she'd still look stunning - they weren't wrong. Her look *really* lends itself brilliantly to vintage anamorphic lenses, which we tend to use as a rule for almost everything.

Prompt arrival (with updates on her journey) on location, total patience for the laborious process of setups and proper attention to the character brief. I was so impressed with her acting chops as well, since the video itself required a fair bit of emotional investment & expression in the role.

Ruby really helped us out with what she brought to this shoot (she knows her lighting and her own look so well that it lightened my tasks for the day as a Director & Lighting Cameraman) and has since been incredibly supportive with our continued promotion of the project online.

I've shot with Ruby twice this year so this reference is a over due.

Ruby is extremely easy to work with from initial booking, to post production. Her communications are clear and fast. She turns up on time and is ready to go. She needs virtually no direction and gives you killer shots from the off.

There is never a frown when Ruby's around and her cheeky banter is right up my street. If only every shoot was like a shoot with Ruby.
