References for Rowan Murray Photography

I met Rowan for the first time at his home for an afternoon of Photoshop workflow "training". I'd attended a number of PS tutorials, and training sessions and picked up the basics but wanted to move up to the next level. Rowan talked me through an entire workflow, then had me practice on a suitable image.

Within 45 minutes I had an image that was totally transformed - without making everything look "plastic" or "unreal". From the start of the session I picked up useful snippets of information that I now use whatever editing style I'm working on, and the results from the workflow are amazing - the models love the images I have edited.

Rowan was fantastic throughout the 4 hour session, totally patient, and easy to understand. As a follow up Rowan has offered to provide feedback on my editing, and a refresher session to look at the more detailed aspects.

Totally recommended - will definitely be going back for more :)

Rowan Murray... "The man who can!..."

Is it possible for anyone to be exceptional at everything they do?... Well, with Rowan Murray it is! Rowan makes you feel at ease from the get go! .. His energy and creativity are inspiring to say the least... In fact every idea / insight Rowan envisioned proved to create incredible shots!.. He knows what works & what doesn't.. Saving valuable time & meaning almost very shot is nailed! .. It's almost as if a Rowan visualises the shot & the outcome before it's even taken (like the third eye!) Rowan also has the rare ability to know how to bring the best out in you...posture, posing, eyes, character, .. Rowan is a true artist.. He knows what people look for, he knows what people find attractive and sexy... He knows what pushes people's buttons & what sells!.. It is no wonder he has been internationally published in zillions of well know known magazines!.. Regardless of this Rowan is one of the most modest, genuine and grounded people I have met! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone looking to add first class incredible images to there portfolio..that are second to none!

Rowan is the master of his craft... This is evident by his groundbreaking portfolio! Rowan brought out the bad ass side of my character in my images & I absolutely love them, ♥ I cannot wait to work with Rowan again with some fresh exciting new concepts and ideas! :) xx

I shot for the first time with Rowan after he wrote on Facebook that there was a 'model drought' in Leeds - I was staying in Leeds at the time, so got in contact with him.

We had such an amazing shoot, very relaxed and funny - Rowan is a true professional, this guy knows his stuff, but he is very chilled - he knows what he wants to achieve and exactly how to do it.

We hit the cover of Bizarre Magazine for their January Issue and I for one am so thrilled ♥ I love the images we've produced and can't wait to work with Rowan again and again and again.

Would I recommend Rowan? No... I'm going to keep him all to myself! Of course I would, in a heart beat.

Had a brilliant first shoot with Rowan today. He was incredibly patient with me as I had difficulties with transport getting to him, but he was a real gentleman about it. I was nervous working with him but he made me feel very comfortable and put me at ease. He gave clear direction, knew exactly what he wanted from the shots and created some images that I'm very excited to see properly. Would love to work with him again. Most definitely recommended!

Shot with Rowan for the first time at his Blackpool studio in July and it was one of the most fun I've had! He really knows what he's doing and gets you looking your best! He's a perfect gentleman and so friendly and funny! He got me my first cover with skin shots magazine and I hope to work with him again! I'd recommend him to anyone looking to take their modelling up a gear! Book him now
