This 52 year old (old?) hobbyist photographer based near Amsterdam finished graphic school of arts in the mid 90s. It was then when I picked up my first camera. After graduation, I started out as a graphic designer for record companies, art galleries and museums.
A decade later I took up photography full time and had a few years of fun.

Unfortunately these days photography won't pay the bills anymore, nowadays I'm an IT consultant and photography is where I spend too much money on.............

I'm practically thinking in black and white (like you wouldn't guess by looking at my port), though sometimes if the photo benefits from it) the occasional colour image might trickle down. Some of my heroes are Peter Coulson, Ansel Adams, Dean Collins, David Bailey and Sebastião Salgado.

I do speak Dutch, English, German and a wee bit of French.

Btw, the studio is cat friendly, she has access all areas (which includes the studio).
