- Latest News - July 2023 : In September 2022 I got hit by a major stroke, paralysing half my body. I am fighting hard with my recovery and hope to return to photography within a year. Life is hard, but I must accept it, and battle with a cheerful heart. My recovery is going well, and tomorrow I do my first major shoot.
- My main discipline is Casual Portrait photography, which I have been doing as both Amateur and Semi-Professional for many years. I work in Bristol, from my front room studio in Winter, and in Summer make use of outdoor natural daylight.
- I like a slightly understated image with subtle shades and interesting composition often in black and white. I like to create positive pictures; easy on the eye if not radiant! I'm easy going, and have very few rules, other than to let things unfold naturally, without forcing them. I try to put my subjects at ease so they can relax and express themselves and with a little luck and encouragement hope to capture that special look that stands out or defines everyday life.
