He is a super professional photographer that directs models with delicacy and politeness, provides a very precise guidance, and is very clear about postures and expression. He cares about models’ comfort and safety but also ensures the session is done on time with dynamism and energy, so the creative drive keeps flowing! Rodney is a very passionate creator and a very bubbly, kind, good-humoured personality that constantly inspires models he works with, and smiling is inevitable when working with him! I had the pleasure of working with Rodney at his home studio in North London. He was happy with me bringing a chaperone and made both of us feel very welcome. During pre-comms he provided a detailed plan for the day, making it easier for me to bring outfits that matched the style. He provided very specific directions for posing, ensuring he got exactly what he wanted out of the shoot. The environment was very relaxed and Rodney is really easy to chat to.

An absolute delight! I'm very new to modelling so I am still finding my feet, but Rodney was so kind and immediately put me at ease. His direction style was very easy for me to follow, using himself as a mirror for poses, and giving me little notes and direction as we went. I felt so confident during the shoot and I think it's because it was just such a fun time, and Rodney's excited reaction to every single shot was just amazing, and made me feel so beautiful. I just had a look at all the photos from the session and I am absolutely in love. I highly recommend him, and cannot wait to get my final edited shots!! Thank you!!

Rodney was amazing… he was also the first photographer I worked with on Purpleport. Once we agreed a time and a date, he shared all location details, how the shoot would work in an email so it was super clear for me.

On the day of the shoot, I was really nervous but Rodney helped calm me with a cup of tea and a chat. We planned out the clothes and he helped style my poses really well. What an amazing man and photographer! Wanted to share my honest view and experience for everyone else and also as a recommendation for Rodney. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect going into the shoot but somehow it was literally better than what I could imagine. His view for what and how to capture an image is inspiring. I’m a confident person but he really brought me out my shell in ways I didn’t know I needed e.g. The thought of smiling for photos was never an option I’ve never really loved my smile and so Rodney making me smile and taking photos made me so nervous. I did not expect that when looking at the end results, pretty much all of my photo choices would be of me smiling😁The way he’s captured that moment just feels so authentic and like it’s really me. So grateful for the experience and feeling like it’s okay to smile now. Couldn’t wish for a better photographer😇📸

I cannot recommend Rodney enough!

Working with Rodney was so smooth and easy, he made me feel so comfortable in his home studio for our shoot together.

The communication before the shoot was very detailed and precise, and his response time was quick.

When I arrived to the studio, Rodney did everything to make me feel comfortable like offering me water, coffee, fruit- and we chatted before we began our session. He helped choose which outfits would work best from what I brought and then gave me some time to get dressed and ready.

The shoot was so fun and free! Rodney gives incredible direction, and I love that he has his own sort of vocabulary to direct with so it’s easy to remember what he wants you to do, and he can make you laugh while doing it all! He helps unlock your inner self and makes you shine- the pictures from our session are just out of this world! As a model, I don’t love my smile and he could pick up on that energy- and he helped me through the session smile and laugh and there are photos from our time together where I’m smiling and I love them!

I had a lovely time shooting with Rodney and I would absolutely work with him again in the future. I definitely recommend him!

Highly recommended - the pre-shoot communication was perfect, the shoot was perfect, and the post shoot communication was perfect! Rodney ensured my comfort throughout our time and was very clear with direction - which is great for me being a new model. Not only is Rodney's standard of work very high, he is great fun and good humoured too. I am so happy with the pictures I've received - they were delivered promptly and are beautiful. Wow wow wow! what a great and fun way to spend my Saturday morning shooting at Rob's studio. He has such an amazing vibe and warm personality thats makes you feel like you knew each other from ages. Super professional, tidy and engaging during the shoot which I cannot wait to see the final result. He has a great eye and way to convey creative ideas thorough posses, outfits and use of props. Made me feel super comfortable the whole time and we laugh a lot. Communication was clean pre and during the shoot which made is all very easy and pleasant. Rodney was the most vibrant bubbly most brilliant photographer to ever work with! He was such positive energy it made the shoot an absolute breeze all the way through. He was so helpful with all of the posing telling me exactly what to do and where to put my hands and legs well not legs my mermaid tail haha! His energy, his being super friendly and professional made me feel at ease right away even though it was my first shooting.

Society and the beauty standards imposed by it has made it difficult for us women to feel beautiful and sexy every day, without makeup and without a nice dress. What Rodney made possible that day was to make me feel perfect the way I am, just myself.

What an absolute delight of a photoshoot; Rodney is definitely a must whether you're an experienced model or you're just starting.

Inmaculate communication prior the session, can't possibly miss out of what to wear or what kind of images will you get, during the session with Rodney's precise guiding and also after the session where I had the chance to even take a picture and a short video with him.

Never felt better about a shoot, not only because of the SUBLIME pictures we produced, but also because of Rodney's exceptional charisma and positive energy which helped to create such a safe and warm atmosphere.
