I had a great shoot at Rococo Farm with it's fab owner Jenni.

As someone who loves natural light, the place was ideal. Bags of character, great light in all rooms & corridors, & plenty of interesting "nooks & crannies" (doorways, fireplace, windows & of course "Delilah" the bed).

The staircase & wooden floors also add plenty of character.

I didn't manage to shoot half the locations I'd have liked to, so I shall return as soon as I can, & as you can guess, I heartily recommend Rococo Farm.

As a photographer I am always looking for venues which have something a little special and different, something that makes them unique. Locations which ooze character and which have varied opportunities for a range of different moods and sets are always attractive.

I also look for places where I know shooting will be relaxed, where I feel welcome and where I know that the owners are interested and want me to leave happy with what has been available.

Rococo Farm ticks all these boxes, and more. I had the great pleasure of shooting here with the owner/host Jenni JJ, and the only problem I encountered was being utterly spoilt for choice with so many opportunities provided in this very characterful house, and nowhere near enough time scheduled on that first visit to do any of them much justice.

Rococo Farm is an absolutely superb location, with many of the rooms being blessed with good natural light, and with a wonderful variety of locations which will provide excellent opportunities for sets for different genres.

It would be hard to find a better venue, and one with such a welcoming and accommodating owner/host. I highly recommend it to other photographers - just allow enough time to do the location justice!

I with Jenni at her splendid home earlier this year.

It's absolutely NOT a white wall type place, if you're looking for that, look elsewhere; but If you're looking for a location that's full of character, look no further. There's plenty of variation of light, rooms, Oslo the fluffball. and of course the very splendid Jenni as your host (or model of course). Equally importantly there's space for you, the photographer to stand back a bit - so you're not scrunched into using wide, potentially unflattering focal lengths.

So interesting windows/ doorways / staircase / fireplaces / flooring vs. white walls. Hmm.

Very good indeed!
