Attended a group shoot with Ruby at Mike Lester's studio near Leeds.

Ruby mentioned towards the end it was her first group shoot but you wouldn't have known, she was great.

Interacted with the group really well lots lots of laughs and smiles along the way.

Some great costumes and fantastic (& very flexible poses!)

I answered a casting call that Ruby had put up. Although I couldn’t make the original date, we soon found an alternative.

Of course I had no idea what the shoot would be like, as we hadn’t met and the theme was not mine. I brought everything I could think of with me!

I need not have been concerned. Ruby was lovely. I told her so. She chose the outfits, made the poses, and with only a little input from me, we created some great pictures. Friendly and confident in front of the camera, generous with the tea.

I’m thrilled with the results.

Next time can’t come soon enough.

Had my first photo shoot with Rubes. It had been a quite a while since I last worked with a model; due to me wanting to stay safe during this Covid crisis.

This collaboration gave us the opportunity to take our time, relax, try out a few ideas and experiment with natural lighting.

Rubes was friendly and fun to work with, providing me with a constant stream of tea. :-)

She is a fabulous model, full of creative ideas and fabulous poses, requiring very little in the way of direction.

I look forward to working with her again.
