It's the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. We waited over an hour for sundown with a cold wind blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean!
Then exactly at breaking fast time 6:47pm, the mosque was illuminated in the evening sky and prayers were broadcast from the speakers. The wait was worth it for this picture!
