🎞 Kempston Studio [Studio Hire, Bedford] 🎞

Happy to report an eventful first visit to the studio for Ricky with Theresa Louise. These two have shot before so instantly were like best friends meeting up again with banter and chit chat as they decided which outfit to go for first. Nothing was a rush for Ricky and it felt like it was about the experience more than firing off a thousand shots.

Respectful to his model at all times and the studio and its equipment and always helped with moving equipment and clearing up at the end.

The eventful part was a power cut three quarters into his 4 hr shoot but with some battery lights, the emergency lights and candles Ricky wasn't phased and even led to some good laughs between the three of us following.

From what I could see from BOC the images looked really good and Theresa seemed pleased with them also.

Four hours flew by and I can say as a studio owner I would happy have Ricky back in the studio and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to models to shoot with.

Lovely first shoot with Ricky! Ricky had great and creative ideas, he arrived well prepared with specific ideas he wanted to shoot. Relaxed, professional, but also holding great conversation, he put me at ease, directed me very well but also gave me space to complete his vision. He was super attentive to my comfort which I really appreciated, very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

I would definitely recommend, and I would be keen to shoot again with him!

RICKY! Ah what a great shoot, from the minute he arrived we clicked. Real chill day, we had a laugh and didn't rush which creates the best images! Honestly so in love with the shots he captured.

Such a good day, lovely guy, couldn't recommend highly enough. Definitely hope to see you again sometime soon!

And on to the second shoot!

We started our shoot at 4:30am and Ricky was bang on time. He brought coffee and hot chocolate for the end of the shoot to warm up alongside a towel too.

When we arrived at the location he gave a quick run down of the plan, knew exactly where we needed to go and always made sure I was safe and offered help as and when needed along the way.

Just as he was on the first shoot, Ricky was extremely respectful, laid back and fun. We discussed ideas and got stuck in straight away. He went above and beyond to get the best possible shot.

We will definitely be working together again and already started discussing future ideas. I absolutely adore working with Ricky and would highly recommend to any model even thinking about working with him

Well there’s not enough kind words in the dictionary for me to describe this gentleman.

We started off with great comms beforehand knowing full well this shoot could go either way based on the ideas we had. Ricky picked me up and we drove to the location which was perfect for what we originally planned.

Ricky was extremely respectful with levels and just generally. I cannot reiterate how comfortable but more importantly, safe, Ricky made me feel. From general chit chat to on set outfit changes to the levels and conditions we spoke about. Any model that has ever had issues with male photographers, you can feel safe with this one.

Overall we took some amazing shots, one of which is one of my all time personal favourites. I cannot recommend Ricky enough, he is a gentleman and a fantastic photographer with a good eye

What a bloody awesome morning.

I was so thrilled to be back modelling again and I have to be honest, I’m glad it was our Ricky here I got to work with first. Why? Because I felt I could ease back in to what I’m meant to do with no pressure and you have the added benefit of great conversations and care.

His photography has come on leaps and bounds! I was super impressed by being able to say only a few things of what I was looking for regarding a shot and my pose and BOOM, the guys got it, in fact he’s already there with me on it.

We tried something a little different today and Ricky loves to work it out! Which is what you want. He has a fantastic approach, work ethic and over all attitude.

If you haven’t worked with Ricky yet, you really must.

I had the most amazing first shoot with Ricky this weekend and OMG what a shoot!

It’s shoots like these that really make me very humbled to be able to do what I love and meet such like minded people along the way.

Ricky and I after 5 mins hit it off like we had known each other for years - we didn’t stop talking 😂 I’m sorry Ricky, I told you I’d send you home with a headache 😝 but all jokes aside, the shoot was so relaxed and even though we didn’t stop talking we really got some cracking shots, the edits are some of my favourite images taken at my home studio.

Ricky - I cannot thank you enough for travelling all that way to come and shoot with me, I’m so grateful.

Really looking forward to our Photography journey together! More awesomeness to come soon!

I cannot recommend Ricky enough.

I saw his port and I genuinely got excited from the first message that he wanted to work with me.

We got along so well that we booked in for 4 hours and ended up shooting 5 without realising it.

We worked a variety of styles from lingerie through to open leg and each style was given the same attention as the last.

It was the perfect kick-start to my bank holiday weekend and back to back bookings.

I'm looking forward to our next shoot and I'm definitely up for the early morning locations.

Wow…what an amazing photographer Ricky is! I’ve wanted to shoot with him for some time.

Shot with Ricky for the first time last weekend at one of the creativity hub events! Ricky was super friendly upon first approach,he was enthusiastic about the shoot and already friendly and well known to the other models.
