Well how do I start :) my first time meeting and shooting with Rich at Tony smiths home studio , and he is an absolute dream to work with and a really genuine guy. He showed me great potential in his work and I’d be delighted to work with him again very soon and see him progress further. Thank you rich for making the shoot flow easy and I look forward to shooting with you again soon :)

I've known Rich for a while via Facebook, and he's always come across as a nice, likeable, polite, and respectful guy. He approached me to ask me if I'd consider giving tuition, which at the time I'd not thought about. After a chat, I agreed.

Rich arrived on time, with all the equipment he said he'd bring.

I do not mean this as a negative. Rich knew a little, but there were gaps. So we spent some time going over some of the basics, which I felt he found helpful, it also counted as a good chance to break the ice.

After an hour or so, we had a model due to arrive, my good friend Lois. After introductions were made, we set about setting up and using studio lighting.

Rich took to the whole thing like a duck to water. He was like a sponge soaking up everything I was imparting. He picked things up quickly, and put them into practice immediately.

I feel that Rich has a good future in photography, he just needs to stick at it, and find some time to practice what he's picked up.

With some time and with some help there is nothing stopping him from pursuing a lovely hobby, and perhaps into something more.

If any models would like to work with Rich, I'd be very happy to offer to come along and help out, not in any way to take over the shoot at all, but if it was helpful in some way for another person to be there, then I'll do my best to do so.

Rich, keep at it mate, you did a fine job the other day, just keep doing what you did. :)
