Rhianne Louise LRPS

My name is Rhianne, and I am a passionate photographer dedicated to exploring the world through my lens. My photography journey began in 2018 with a series of night courses at my local college, all while I was working full-time as a carer. Balancing these commitments was challenging, especially as I pursued my creative aspirations during a demanding time. Nonetheless, my determination paid off when I completed my Higher National Certificate (HNC) in 2020, navigating the unique difficulties posed by the pandemic.

My photographic interests are diverse, ranging from landscapes and nature to light trails and night photography. Each subject offers a unique opportunity for exploration and storytelling, allowing me to express different aspects of my artistic vision. Recently, I have gravitated towards portrait photography, experimenting with various models and studio settings to capture the essence of my subjects.

To further immerse myself in the photographic community, I recently joined a photography club. This has provided me with invaluable opportunities to engage with fellow enthusiasts, share insights, and deepen my passion for the craft. I believe that collaboration and shared experiences are essential for growth as an artist.

In September 2024, I was proud to achieve my Licentiateship (LRPS) through the Royal Photographic Society. This milestone has not only validated my journey but has also inspired me to aim higher and expand my skills further. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and am committed to continuing my development in photography.

As I look to the future, I am eager to push my creative boundaries and explore new avenues within photography. I am driven by the desire to capture moments that resonate with others and to contribute to the vibrant world of visual storytelling.
