I worked with Russel for the first time at my studio day at Kempston. He let me know he'd bring along vintage items and he sure did. The pieces were so beautiful and he was really set on the shots he wanted to take. I can't wait to see the final edits and I'd really love to work with Russel again. Conversation during our shoot was fluid and the time passed really quickly. I would recommend working with him.

Had pleasure of shooting with Russell for first time we had discussed sets prior to shooting and I was in awe of the beautiful vintage pieces he brought along. Look forward to seeing the images. russell is great to work with we had some great chats throughout our shoot time just flew. Highly recommended photographer. Great to have Russ in for the first time shooting with Inked Roxie.

He brought some beautiful clothing for Roxie to wear during the shoot and had a good idea on what he wanted to achieve from the images.

Irida and myself both really enjoyed meeting Russ for the first time on a Studio Day that we had hosted. I found Russ to be an interesting person to converse with and I liked his energy and enthusiasm with what he does. Irida loved wearing the amazing vintage collection that he had brought to the shoot.

My first shoot today with Russ at my Studio Weekend at Kempston Studio!

Russ was friendly and lovely to chat with during our 2-hour slot, the shoot felt super relaxed and I felt at ease with Russ throughout! Russ is a great character and brought so much fun to the last slot of the weekend (which was needed after a long weekend of shoots). We shot some stunning vintage clothing and lingerie kindly brought by Russ, he has an amazing collection of original 1940 and 50s pieces and it was so much fun to play 'dress-up' with Russ. Russ has amazing attention to detail and works hard to get the perfect shot which really shows in his work, I cannot wait to see the final images!

Russ is a fantastic photographer and I highly recommend working with him if you get the opportunity, and I hope to get to work with him again in the future😊

Love it when Russell books at the studio because I know he is going to bring a suitcase of vintage items for the model to wear and this time was no exception.

Russell was part of the Cindafckinrella weekend and his range of outfits had Megan swooning over them. The images look great and hopefully we can all see a few of them on here shortly.

Lovely guy, great conversation, decent photographer, knows what he wants to shoot and as a model if you get the chance you will definitely not regret it.

Happy to welcome Russell back anytime.

🎞 Kempston Studio [Studio Hire, Bedford] 🎞

Oh Russ, what a breathe of fresh air having you in the studio (for the Gia studio day). Russ brought along all his own genuine vintage outfits and accessories and props and shot 3 or 4 outfits which looked absolutely wonderful.

Whilst Russ openly admits he is not a photography expert with some help it looked like he had some great images and I really hope to see them on here soon.

His model Gia admitted she wanted to take home many of his outfits with her.

Would be happy to welcome Russ back to the studio and happy to recommend.

I worked with Russ recently during my studio day at Kempston Studio.

I messaged beforehand to ask what he wanted me to bring along with me, but he basically provided everything. Beautiful, authentic vintage 1940's and 50's outfits including hats, clip on jewellery and props!

I had a blast shooting these looks and Russ himself was so easy to work with and super chilled. We chatted and shot and it was great! I would definitely recommend Russ, he has a great eye for style and composition (coming from a Fashion Graduate). It just takes great restraint to actually give the outfits back after! X

Russ came along for a studio day at Big Shot Studio.

He came along with a big array of authentic 1950's lingerie, which was simply beautiful.

I thourally admired his creative concepts of creating a story behind the image, in which I very much enjoyed being the muse.

What is most admirable about Russ is his character, he is completely at ease within himself and is incredibly interesting to talk to.

Big Shot Studio

Russ attended a second studio day with us yesterday and we found him to be keen learner of photography. He had some great ideas and concepts that he wanted to shoot. He brought along a whole range of authentic vintage lingerie for the model and worked on two different sets to get the images he wanted. Russ is very enthusiastic and I would happily recommend him to other studios.

I met Russ at a WW2 show at the Great Central Railway. Pre shoot communication was brilliant. I knew what to expect and Russ provided all the outfits which fit the bill exactly. On the day, Russ was well prepared and very laid back. The shoot was a lovely experience and I have no reason to hesitate recommending Russ :)
