The Studio 

Rebels Roots is a 30ft x 12ft studio space primarily created for photography. This space is designed for different creatives across the UK. You will be warmly welcomed and encouraged to embrace your creativity in a safe and comfortable studio with everything you could need during your visit. There is a varied selection of equipment, backdrops, props, outfits, shoes and more. 

The is a variety of equipment to utilise during your session at Rebels Roots. Firstly, There is a Canon 7Dmkii camera on site with lenses ranging from 17mm upto 70-200 although the most commonly used lens for this body is the 24-105. The camera comes with a battery grip and has a total of 3 batteries to keep you going for an entire day. ​

Lighting - There is a total of 6 studio strobes 3 Neewer & 3 Godox. which are all wirelessly transmitted with the Godox having remote control so you can adjust your lighting on those from your camera. 

​The Soft Boxes consists of a large octagon, 2X strip boxes, a Parabolic Soft Box, A Beauty Dish, A Snoot with all the relevant Die, RGB Light Wand, Barn Doors, Gels and a Large Clam Reflector.

In addition to the indoor shooting space, permission has been granted to use other parts of the building and surrounding areas. Within the site there are dark halls and spooky staircases, a roller shutter into the industrial site, a large metal cage, a giant 3 floor iron staircase, metal caged doors close to the studio as well as multiple graffiti walls within a 5 minute walk. 

For the Models

One of the Rebels owners is also a model, so we've really tried to think of all things that a model might want or need on a shoot that is often forgotten or missing at a studio. 

Firstly the comfort, we have the usual hot and cold beverages, snacks, a fridge to store any medication or makeup. We have disposable slippers and personalised Rebels Roots dressing gowns for models to use between outfit changes.

There is a Beauty Station where hair and makeup can be touched up in between shots. It is encouraged to bring your own makeup with you although there is a selection of makeup and nail varnish with disposable applicators for those finishing touches that you might not keep in your usual makeup bag.  There is also a selection of special FX makeup such as Neon Gels, Contact lenses, UV paints and pens and coloured hair sprays if you may wish to use these. ​

There is a varied selection of outfits, clothes and shoes available to wear during your session. A large variety of shoes available are from Iron Fist Clothing with many sizes to choose from.

​Polite Notice

• Please be respectful and courteous to other businesses in the building.

• Ensure that you are dressed appropriately whilst using the facilities and keeping conversations appropriate and to a low volume whilst in the communal spaces. 

• Please keep music to a reasonable volume.

• If something gets broken it must be reported ASAP. 

 

Studio Hire 

The team at Rebels Roots is made up of a model and photographer which are both available to be hired or to assist with any queries during your session. 

• Hourly Rate - £25 per hour with a minimum of a 2 hour booking.
• Half Day Rate (4 Hours) - £80 
• Full Day Rate - (8 Hours) - £160
