It had been a few years since Roger and I last worked together, but from the moment he arrived, it felt as though no time had passed at all. Straight away I knew we were going to have another great shoot. I cannot over emphasise how refreshing it is to have a photographer arrive for a shoot with clear ideas and plans, while also being flexible about how to approach them. Roger really is such a pleasure to shoot with - he is calm and relaxed and creates fantastic images. I absolutely recommend shooting with Roger if you have the opportunity, and look forward to working with him again :)

Had a lovely second shoot with Roger after our great shoot last year. Rodger booked in two slots during my Studio Day at Canterbury Photographic Studio.

Pre-coms we’re great and everything was super easy to organize. On the day of of Shooting Rodger arrived promptly and brought along some lovely fabrics for our shoot along with a mood board he had prepared. Roger certainly had something really specific in mind and we worked well together being patient and fine tuning our results. Roger was really good at giving directions during this shoot too.

More than recommended! Was lovely to shoot with Roger again.

I had a wonderful first shoot with Roger at Rochester Studio and it has been a huge pleasure and creative time. We worked on a few different settings and styles. He is a very passionate photographer.

Communication was great since the first approach and he is a very kind and creative person. Roger is absolutely lovely guy, great photographer and I would absolutely shoot with him again!

I just had the most amazing first shoot with the lovely Roger today at Rochester studio.

Roger approached me for a shoot a few weeks back and I’m so glad he did.

We worked through loads of set and from what I could see from the back of the camera we got some cracking shots.

Had a really great shoot with Roger Nolan during my studio day at Canterbury photographic studio. Communications and planning was great prior to shooting. During the shoot Roger had a clear plan and itinerary, this made our shoot session go smoothly. I loved Rogers lighting set ups and techniques, his use of clamshell lighting was my favorite.

I can more than recommended this photographer he put a huge amount of effort into our shoot!

I received a warm welcome when I arrived and was made to feel incredibly comfortable by Roger and all the members of the club, it was a very easy and enjoyable job for me. Roger is one of those brilliant people with a hugely creative and equally relaxed attitude, which is practically a superpower to have as a photographer.

As well as being a lovely person to shoot with and be around, great with comms and patient with me when I showed up drenched in rain and 15 min late, he did a great job of creating brilliant lighting and composition, both through intelligent preparation and as we went through each set, focusing on getting each shot just right and re-shuffling things effortlessly when needed.

Thanks to Roger and his friend Dave's friendly, kind and pleasant personalities, and their wonderful creativity, I enjoyed every moment of the shoot and hope we can shoot together again.

Another great shoot with Roger! As always, he was lovely to work with and had some great ideas. He gave me an idea of what to bring beforehand and our shoot was relaxed but productive. I had my third shoot with Roger yesterday at Rochester Studios.

Pre-communcations were excellent as usual. I knew what Roger wanted to achieve from our shoot, the styles he wanted to shoot and what kind of things to bring with me. Roger is professional, respectful, hard-working and easy to talk to and work with. Roger gives great direction throughout. He experimented with different lighting sets up in the studio which was great fun and I was amazed by the results from the back of his camera - they were all lovely! Roger took his time getting the lighting just right, the composition of the images were superb and I am overall delighted with how the shoot went.

I would be very glad to work with Roger anytime! And can highly recommend him to others :)

I worked with Roger and Nick (another photographer from his camera club) the other day at Rochester Studios and although I was very late for the shoot due to traffic it all still went along smoothly and we managed to get the shots that they both wanted which was great!

Roger had lots of different ideas he wanted to experiment with that were very much "outside the box" ideas which was great and made the shoot a lot more interesting. It was great to work with him again and I very much look forward to seeing the photos.

Roger invited me along to one of his camera club evening shoots after chatting about working together and it was great fun. Worked with various different photographers and we have already arranged a further shoot soon to work together for much longer as we only got a short window throughout the evening. So I'm very much looking forward to that!

He's very professional and the evening was all planned out well due to him doing them regularly, it was a pleasure to come along to it and I look forward to our next shoot together. :D

I had the lovely opportunity to work with Roger for the second time last week, this time as part of a duo shoot with Kelly Hathaway. It was Roger's first time shooting duo images, and, from what I could see in the back of the camera, he got some really beautiful results.

Roger's pre shoot comms are brilliant - both Kelly and I were able to arrive with hair and makeup ready to go, and able to bring along the right sorts of clothing and lingerie items for the ideas that Roger had in mind. It's always so lovely to be able to feel fully prepared for shoot in this way, and enables the best possible use of time during the shoot too.

Roger had prepared some brilliant sketches to help us with his ideas for poses (there was no similarity to Mr Potato Head... none at all... :P ), and this was a great starting point for Kelly and I to work from... and may have given us a giggle or two along the way too!

I was so happy to be a part of this lovely shoot - the time absolutely flew by. I would recommend working with Roger without hesitation, and really hope we shoot together again in the future :)

Myself and Bex White did a duo shoot with Roger and Dave Belsham at Rochester Studios.

Pre-communications were absolutely brilliant. We knew the details of the shoot, what to bring with us, ideas (the most amazing sketches haha!), makeup and hair requirements etc - which made the whole shoot run smoothly from start to finish.

This was Roger's first time shooting two models together but you honestly wouldn't have thought it! Roger gave excellent direction to us both, and also allowed us to suggest our own ideas and pose freely too. Roger shoots at a relaxed yet productive pace. He is passionate about his photography and takes great pride and care in getting the lighting and composition just right. If you want to work with someone who takes high quality images then look no further!

We worked through several set ups which Roger creatively came up with (most of which we had never done before on other shoots) which was refreshing, interesting, great fun and made for an overall fantastic shoot experience.

Highly recommended by me and I look forward to working with him again in February :D

Roger booked me for a shoot during my recent Kent tour. He's lovely! So easy to work with and talk to, happy to indulge my perfectionist streak so we got the best images possible, and mindful of my comfort and temperature as well. I'd definitely wok together again- thankyou Roger! :)

The lovely Roger had me over to Rochester to shoot with himself and a friend. What a creative guy! We definitely got some epic shots and had a really great time experimenting. Some of his ideas surprised me but amazingly most of them worked super well. Roger is a lovely, charming, and talented photographer who I would not hesitate to work with again!

I had a wonderful first shoot with Roger at my home this week. Roger arrived with a good equipment set up, including a black back drop, which we got some great results with. It made a really nice change for me shooting in this way at my home, and it worked very well. We also made use of some of the natural home settings, and achieved some lovely images in this way too.

Roger is a real breath of fresh air to work with. He truly cares about his images, and rather than shooting for quantity he looks only for quality. I really enjoyed experimenting with different lighting set ups and styles during our shoot - and honestly the three hours just flew by. I would recommend working with Roger without hesitation - and can't wait until we shoot together again. Thank you Roger!

Yesterday evening was the first time I have modelled for Roger's camera club in Rainham. Roger was very welcoming to me, the other model and all fellow photographers who attended the event. Pre-communications were spot on - I knew the details of where to go and what to bring etc. Roger made sure we were well looked after, treated me to a drink half way through and made sure the club ran smoothly. Roger is professional, has a great personality and I look forward to the next camera club event as well as our couple of hours at Rochester Studio next month :)

Roger actually messaged me a few weeks ago in regards to a camera club shoot. Leading up to the night, he gave me good detail of what I needed to do, where the shoot would be, what I needed to wear and who I’d be shooting with.

When I arrived at the shoot, he made me feel more than welcome and Introduced me to some of the photographers.

The whole night was great. I throughly enjoyed the shoot. Roger is lovely, and a great person to work with. I am more than grateful for the opportunity to model for his camera club.
