I met Ray many years back and he invited me to his Photography group shoot outside London at the time. Great connection. Ray is a good instructor, very organised and a flawless creative professional photographer. Ray's annual photography workshops, with his business partners Lawrence, contributed to my confidence shooting many genre in photography. Ray is funny and has a warm passion for photography. I will not hesitate to attend his next workshop. I highly recommend him.

You are getting much more than a photographer when you work with Ray. To echo other sentiments, Ray has a particular talent in connecting with models and making them feel instantly relaxed, playful and confident. He is both encouraging whilst sensitive to your boundaries and to top it all you will get some beautiful pictures. An absolute pleasure to work with.

My first mini solo shoot with Ray. As I am new to modelling, we had decided to combine this shoot with a training session. Ray passed on valuable information to me regarding posing, stance and facial expression. I am at the risk of sounding like a broken record here, but he has a unique ability to tap into one's inner soul and make people feel completely relaxed and at ease straight away. He is patient, 100% genuine and professional. He's funny too. He is able to make the model feel confident and empowered. I am really looking forward to seeing the edited shots, but the shots I saw in the back of the camera were great. I'm looking forward to my next shoot with him. Thanks Ray.

Ray Paulden is an incredibly talented photographer, a unique creative who is very insightful into observing what a model requires in order to bring out the best in them. He is able to assess how a person is feeling and then work with them from where they are at, to where they want to be, all the while making the model feel comfortable and special. He is also very professional and always clearly explains his objectives.

Ray is also very very creative an innovative with his shoots and loves to use props to accentuate and add to either the model, or to create a theme around the model.

I have worked with Ray approximately 15 times and we have alot of fun, but also we are adventurous in terms of exploring creative expression whilst also taking great photos.

It's always a pleasure working with Ray.

I have co-run several group shoots with Ray now and the feedback we have received from Models and Togs has been wonderful stating how well organised our events are and how wonderful the location is with a studio and very large woodland and gardens. Ray is an extreamly talented photographer and is very much in demand. Ray and myself are planning a number of small group shoots with models and togs using both the woodland gardens and studio following social distancing rules. I was lucky enough to work with Ray on the latest group fashion shoot. We had an hour together,and the time flew by. This was my third ever shoot as a model, and Ray was very encouraging, helpful, approachable and funny! He made me feel at ease and was really good at communicating his ideas for poses. I cant wait to see all the photos, however the ones I have seen so far are great. I would recommend Ray and his group fashion shoots to anyone. I would love to work with him again.

I have been modelling on and off since I was 16, but this was my first group shoot and the first time I met Ray.

We met the night prior to the shoot so we could get to know each other better. This helped me a lot as we soon realised it felt like we had known each other for years. Ray is extremely empathetic, compassionate, caring and full of knowledge in many areas of life and the photography world.

The next day Ray collected me from my hotel, as I wasn't familiar with the area, after a short drive we arrived at Lawrence's, who is his business partner, beautiful home and location that we were shooting at.

It was very well organised especially considering the worry of covid. All the photographers were lovely, and I felt very comfortable and at ease and safe the whole time throughout the day with each and every photographer there.

We had a lovely nutritious lunch supplied, vegetarian for me, with plenty of bottles of water and fruit.

After the shoot Ray kindly dropped me off at the hotel and the next day we did a solo soft glamour shoot. Ray let me take the lead, as everyone let me yesterday, and everything I wore or did was my choice with no pressure given whatsoever. I cannot recommend Ray enough, especially for new models as he gives great advice for new models starting out or for expierenced models to perfect their work.

I look forward to many more photoshoots with my new trusted friend, take care and I'll see you in 3 weeks time.

Yesterday I attended Rays all day group fashion shoot in Godstone.

Ray had put a lot of work into putting it all together and it paid off as it was an excellent event.

This was my first shoot with Ray and we had such a laugh, was great fun enjoyed it so much. My first impressions of Ray were that he is the friendly and polite type and I was sure that we would have fun during the shoot. Ray came very well prepared the way I like. A written list of what he'd like to do and a car full of props, outfits and tools.

Had such a laugh with Ray and he made me feel at ease even though this was a solo glamour shoot in open spaces. Ray just makes you feel so comfortable it’s just fun! Looking forward for the Covid restrictions to be lifted to participate in his upcoming workshop soonest.

4th shoot with Ray, mixing both our ideas together and jointly putting something into developing new looks and building on the levels. Cosmic Starlight

I was delighted to meet Ray for the first time on a group shoot with photographer Lawrence Homewood, and another model. He has been inviting me to group shoots before, but this was the 1st time I managed to get to one, and Im so glad I did (despite awful weather and train conditions!). Ray was very friendly, chatty and easy to get along with from the start. He has a variety of clothes and accessories for models if they wish to use them. Ray likes to do unusual and quirky poses, and he is good at giving direction and ideas. He is very encouraging, and I liked what I saw from back of camera. (Especially the wide angle shots that make my legs look great!) Even though we were a bit rushed for time, we still managed to get at least 4 different outfits and ideas done, and I think we worked well together.

I look forwards to seeing the results and Ray's edited images! I recommend Ray to anyone.
