Another amazing studio day organized by Steve at his own Art Asylum studio in Weymouth. As always, Steve was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire experience—from the initial communication to the two fantastic days of shooting. He was always smiling, welcoming, and did everything possible to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere.

Steve is so friendly with the photographers and goes out of his way to help them achieve their desired images. It’s always a pleasure to have him around. He’s mindful of the studio’s temperature, ensuring I stay warm, and he’s constantly making me tea, which is such a thoughtful touch. He also makes sure to speak highly of me to the photographers and encourages them to give me creative freedom, allowing me to choose outfits and contribute my ideas. This leads to great collaboration with the photographers, with Steve's support always present. There’s always lots of laughter, lovely conversations, and fantastic music throughout the shoot. Both 2 studio days were amazing.

I've visited the studio multiple times now, and every experience with Steve is exceptional. Thank you so much for your kindness—I’m looking forward to working with you again.

I enjoyed a studio day hosted by steve in his studio Art Asylum Reloaded. At the end of the day we had some time before getting the train so we did some pictures that were so much fun i loved it and Steve is such a great host and kind person i definitely recommend to all models

Had a great shoot with Steve. Very relaxed and friendly, really made me feel comfortable and confident. We both had a good laugh and honestly I left feeling really happy. The studio is great with lots of props and a selection of outfits to try and the images came out beautifully! Thank you for a great shoot, very excited for the next one!

After taking a bit of a hiatus from modelling due to surgery, I knew I was in a safe pair of hands with Steve.

Although I was extremely conscious of my scars across my mid-rift, not once did he draw attention, remark or say anything about them. It was business as usual which really helped me get back into the swing of things.

We shot some completely different stuff to whay we have done previously.

Comms as usual were great.

I now feel fully prepared for a sell out group shoot at the studio next month.

After a long time of talking and throwing ideas around, I got to finally meet and work with Steve down at his studio.

Honestly, I'm really happy to have now met and worked with Steve as he really is a great and genuine guy.

At the studio I got some solo work done with Steve along with some duo work with Mel4nie which was a lot of fun, and the results speak form themselves.

I really look forward to working with Steve on the next project, it was defiantly worth the wait and planning!

Had a fantastic shoot with Steve yesterday! Fabulous as always! Always giving the best hospitality of tea and coffees. Always feel at ease shooting with Steve and he without a doubt gives me incredible images! Was so fun to work with him again yesterday while I was waiting for my booking at his studio. Had a great laugh and was over the moon with the images I have gone through. Cant wait to share more on my port! Highly recommend by me of course 😊😊 Thankyou for everything Steve! See you soon! I shoot with Steve often, to the point that if I left a reference for every shoot, his references would be plastered with my comments.

However, given that it was our final shoot of the year, I thought it would be fitting to leave one this time.

Steve and I have become good friends over the past three years we have shot so much together to the point that if either one of us suggests an idea, we instinctively trust each to see it through and 9/10 times we nail it.

If you haven't shot with Steve, then you should. Not only does he own one of the best studios on the South Coast, he's a bloody fantastic photographer and knows multiple lighting set ups. Coupled with the fact that his retouch work is second to none and he has embraced change and utilises AI technology in a sympathetic way to his editing work.

He has become a brilliant photography mentor as I step to the other side of the lens. Thankyou for all your help, advice and collaborative work this year

Guess, you'll have to put up with me some more in 2024.

Steve was fun, knowledgeable and made the time fly by - even turned the heating up when I asked 😂

Steve and I shot to today on an Easter themed shoot which has been in the planning for several months but more so to test out an idea for a future group shoot.

Without spilling the beans, we produced some images which were out of this world.

Steve and I shoot regularly and we never seem to run out of ideas.

Grabbed a quick 1 hour warm up shoot with Steve prior to a shoot at the studio with another photographer.

Did a typical boudoir session. Was nice to have this warm up as a precurser to my main shoot especially as it had been over a month sincei last stepped in front of the camera.

As always, managed to grab some great shots despite having a limited time to shoot.

I am very fortunate to have Steve as one of my photographers that I regularly work with.

Having spent the last few shoots doing more experimental based stuff, we decided to go back to basics and shoot what we are best known for portraiture and boudoir, but with a twist.

Got some absolute corkers of images, which is no surprise given we know each other's way of working so well.

Steve is a fantastic boudoir photographer so of you ever get the chance to work with him, please do!

We had a great shoot and created lots of brilliant images . His studio was impressive and he is a very skilled photographer.

My first shoot with Steve and I hope it’s not the last!!

What an awesome day!!

I met Steve when I held a studio day at Art Asylum Reloaded studio where he was the most amazing host, so I was super excited when he invited me back to shoot.

Steve is Ace! We had so much fun playing with light. Steve also taught me lots while we went along about camera settings. I am always very grateful to gain more knowledge about what goes on behind the camera, I learned so much, Steve is a great teacher too. As well as being an awesome photographer, he’s an awesome person! An absolute gentleman and a good laugh…. Great taste in music too!! The day was so good it literally flew before our eyes.

Looking at the boc I was so pleased with what we had captured together. Steve has already given me a few edits which I’m in love with. I can’t wait to see more.

I were delighted to have the opportunity to fit in a quick shoot with Steve at his studio in Weymouth. We covered boudoir and lingerie and used the fabulous natural light shining through. Steve as always, ensured I were comfortable and happy and we chatted throughout. With minimal effort Steve caught some super shots in the short time we had and I can't wait to work with him again for a longer duration. 100% recommended.

Had my first shoot with Steve at his studio, Art Asylum Reloaded, and what a great shoot it was!

Steve is welcoming, friendly, and offered me drinks throughout!

A genuinely nice chap, who you could talk to for hours!

Inbetween the nattering, we also managed to capture some beautiful shots!

He's brilliant at giving direction, and also allows you your own initiative! He's very encouraging, and has a real eye for the perfect shot!

I received all the unedited images that night, and Steve allowed me 15 edited images as well!

Won't be my last time working with Steve!

Continuing with our ever expanding quest to push each other creatively, this shoot was all about doing different stuff.

From dressing a corner of the studio differently, to setting up a aerial hoop shoot to shoot ethereal style to shooting in a wedding dress to taking a t shirt and ripping it to shreds. Plus playing with a new lighting set up.

This shoot was varied and had new challenges for us on both sides of the camera.

Got some stunning images.

As always, Highly recommended.

Our next shoot is ready planned with yet more ideas already on the table

I worked at Art Asylum studio in Weymouth during my "Bournemouth tour"

Steve did a great job advertising for me being at his studio, constantly sharing and making online posters etc which I really appreciated.

Steve's studio is very quirky - it has lot's of "hidden gem" areas which makes it easy to keep your shots looking unique! His dressing room is also full of shoes and clothes that's really useful if you want to change your look up (I had to borrow some shoes!)

Steve was a great host, very welcoming offering tea / coffee etc. He was helpful with the photographers lighting set up needs and then left us to our own devices to shoot when he was no longer needed.

I will definitely be looking to come back to the studio when I am down in that area again! Thanks :-)

Great to touch base with Steve again down at his studio, attend one of his studio days working with Stargirl.

As always was on hand to help and advice. Few changes since I last visited, now even more props, furniture and still just a great place to be able to shot!
