Rasmus got in touch to express his interest in arranging a remote shoot together recently - something I was very happy about because since the pandemic hit I’ve obviously been completely unable to make international travels where I can team-up with other creatives in person. In fact we literally had a great chat on the day about how fantastic this new technology is in allowing us to connect up worldwide and bounce ideas/still make art! :D

Our shoot was rather last minute due to coordinating diaries between my own schedule and Rasmus’s work; but we got there in the end. :) I would absolutely love to have the chance to work with Rasmus again: planning maybe a bit further ahead, and now that I’ve actually met/worked with him as a photographer too. He’s extremely passionate about working (that’s undoubtable) and even with ideas being thrown into the mix short-notice we created some really stunning images! I felt I got a good vibe of the interests and visions Rasmus has as a photographer, and what he likes to capture in a picture aesthetically. This time we concentrated at shooting at my home - executing a fine range of looks in our two hours from simple portraits to more edgy fashion! I feel like we could’ve gone on for a whole day and still had cool productivity to uncover even after that! :D

He is also very aware and conscious of the surroundings within the frame - as we shifted from set to set; Rasmus gave me very helpful feedback on what he wanted to shoot next and had very direct involvement in the shoot. He took to the whole remote system with very little effort and clearly knows his stuff in terms of all the technical bits and bobs associated with the photography process. :) Despite being someone very confident in what they want to take away from a shoot - Rasmus was very relaxed and welcomed my input as the shoot progressed. He was happy for suggestions and willing to form a good working relationship to help the shoot along in a very positive manner.

And to finish my feedback - a very decent and professionally driven guy! Super lovely, very well-mannered and made me feel totally comfortable from start to finish. We had a laugh as we worked: talking about all sorts and riding off a very high-spirited atmosphere. :)

Yes of course I recommend Rasmus! And I really hope we can set something up again with a bit more time ahead of our session - maybe even in my studio next time! He’s a great gentleman - hands down!

I had a lovely first shoot with Rasmus the other week. As we are in lockdown we shot from my new home in Cyprus!

His communications in the lead up to the shoot were great and when we starred shooting I knew it would be good. He is very easy to work with and we flew through several sets all the while chatting away.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the images from our session and hope we can shoot again in the future, especially now I have more locations coming online.

I've now since worked with Rasmus on several (splendid!) remote shoots... Isn't it just the best that you can team up virtually and cover crazy ideas/style fun images even when you're based in different countries several 100 miles apart? The remote revolution really did change the way enthusiastic creative people can do things. 😊 For example; with the bespoke Valentines set that I built in my studio, I mean a few years ago it would have been completely absurd to consider inviting a photographer from Germany to just "pop over" to the UK and shoot in it for a couple of hours. However; Rasmus was totally able to do exactly that by just simply taking the Zoom express and landing right in my studio where we were then able to spend the next few hours utilising a carefully assembled "seasonal" themed set in my studio that was only going to be available for a very short time. I was overjoyed when Rasmus confirmed he was game for being on board - our first remote shoot was quite early in my remote journey and by this point I was really getting the hang of utilising my spaces in different ways and stretching with what my equipment could do. In fact we have since shot several more times with a fun theme in mind each time and I feel it really tells a story of a tremendous rapport forming and how different minds come together and pull the best they can (as a team) from a shooting opportunity! 👌

The looks we covered this time took shape in all manner of levels of inspiration... The Valentines sets being the obvious ones to smash, which we did so very successfully with classic style portraits, cutsie fashion and also body scapes all with a LoveBomb twist! Rasmus has a very imaginative eye as a photographer - this is noticeable even if he's not in the room because he jumps in head-first with suggesting cool ideas that further develop a story within the setting. He came up with the idea to incorporate a ring for a really emotive and dreamy twist for example in the Valentines portrait series. Later on we ventured downstairs from the studio to a vacant office environment for the final set - and the same thing happened there! Rasmus got fully into launching ideas into the scene to put his own signature on the images and inject that extra level of character. 😆 I really do think it's awesome when a photographer has the confidence to do this because any shoot involves those involved working together to create images unique to that particular fusion of creative brains. The sets I built are really just the starting point for photographers to then come in and do their thing to get something different. 🌟 Go Rasmus for seizing these opportunities like he does, it's safe to say we did the Valentines set proud. The office shenanigans were pretty brilliant too (and not something you do every day! 😜)

As before: Rasmus and I did a great deal of chatting as we worked (yes, you can put the world to rights when shooting remotely as well! 😆) He's a very friendly and social person to shoot with which enables an easy development of a positive work rapport. On top of being so upbeat - he's also very polite, respectful and values the importance of a model feeling comfortable. We has only ever worked remotely, but based on my experiences I get the impression that he would be an utter gentleman in-person too. 😊 I can therefore wholeheartedly recommend him as someone I have had great remote experiences with not one, not twice... But several times since this reference (more praises to come from further shoots since!) Working together for yet a further time is always something to look forward to when the opportunities arise.

Fantastic shoot, fantastic pictures produced, fantastic "virtual" atmosphere as we worked - yes working with Rasmus is a joy on many levels! 🙌 Thank you so much for your interest in my Valentines themed week Rasmus.

I had a great remote shoot with Rasmus on Sunday!

He was great with pre-comms and styles of images he wanted to create.

We got a fair few ideas done in three hours which is pretty damn good!! Rasmus was really friendly and professional. Easy to get along with! Someone I’d definitely love to visit in Germany!

I look forward to seeing these fab images, I see you’ve uploaded one already from our internet connection in the studio lol

Rasmus took part in an assisted remote shoot adventure with me and J Black Photographic, and everything from pre communication to the actual shoot day was perfect. He was a consummate professional throughout and during the shoot was advising on posing, seeing the camera better than I could. He is both friendly and warm in his approach and I would definitely work with him in the future when rules permit!

He has a great eye for detail and we worked together to refine the poses until we were both happy with the outcome.

Rasmus is an all round gentleman, working hard to make the model feel comfortable and I certainly felt at happy working with him and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other creatives.

What can I say about Rasmus, he is a lovely and fun old man and photographer :) I have worked with him serval of times, both in Frankfurt and in Sweden. He always hosts me for free in his big house. You will have your own room with bath and shower :)

He has also worked with my models and host them, and all of them were very happy with Rasmus.

I can warmly recommend Rasmus to all models :)
