I had the pleasure of welcoming Raj and his partner in crime, Jade Lyn to the studio to run a workshop recently. Raj had set up a way of creating and underwater effect for studio shots, and creating table top battle scenes with simulated explosions and flying dirt and fire and smoke……what a hoot!

Shot with Raj and Jade on a shoot with Brian - p4pictures on a collaborative project. We needed two models that could work together and understand what we needed to achieve which was an awful lot in the time we had. Highly recommended and would b e happy to work with him again.

Raj is a superbly knowledgeable photographer, but he does make a damn fine model too. I booked Raj and Jade for a studio shoot where I needed to create a lot of different lighting setups and capture behind the scenes, setup and final shots. Raj's easy going nature and willingness to drop in to the sets as needed was just what I required.

Highly recommended indeed.

It was great to meet Raj and have him shooting here for his first time on Sunday with the lovely Jade Lyon.

First impressions were really good and Raj has a very relaxed and easy going vibe. The brief conversation that we had, was friendly and interesting. A highly creative and talented photographer, respectful of the studio and facilities on offer.

Would be awesome to have Raj working here again and is highly recommended! – Lee :-)

First time shooting with Jade and Raj yesterday at The Clock Tower London, pre-comms were great; Jade and Raj were so welcoming and easy to shoot with! They had great ideas and were very accomodating and friendly; even getting snacks for the journey and shoot. The energy of the shoot was so positive and they made me feel very at ease shooting. Raj's confidence in his vision for the last shot we took of the day was brilliant and it was fantastic to work with a couple with such passion for their work.

I would definitely recommend to all and hope to shoot with them again!

Heard great things about Raj’s previous events so was a real pleasure to attend a summer shoot he and Jade Lyon organised.

Due to the weather not being optimal for Lavender/Sunflowers, Raj and Jade spent time researching alternatives and located amazing unique area which I hadn’t seen in any photo shoots before. They also brought a large selection of outfits & props which perfectly matched the theme.

Really appreciated the emphasis on tuition from this workshop, and just understanding Raj’s thought processes was an education. He used some creative lighting ideas that I hadn’t really ever thought of myself for location shoots so definitely came away with some alternative options to try. There was also an emphasis on storytelling which I really liked as that’s very much the direction I’m trying to move my own photography towards.

The workshop was also really fun & intimate with the time just zooming by.

Can’t recommend Raj highly enough so if you get the chance to work with him don’t hesitate!

I attended Raj's "Photo walk workshop in the ruins" on a clear but windy day, Raj was ably supported by his partner and model Jade Lyon, both were very friendly and also knowledgeable concerning the historic site we visited. Raj is a very likeable man and also very knowledgeable concerning photography as a whole and imparted that knowledge with ease, especially concerning off camera flash which was very informative. there were also times when Raj posed with jade making a Duo or couple shoot which lent a little variety to the day, both were dressed in what could be described as "period clothing which also lent a little authenticity to the type of shoot that was undertaken, Thank you Raj for an enjoyable and informative shoot ,I look forward to when we may work together again. Raj comes highly recommended by me.

Today I attended a workshop on using flash with ambient light led by Raj and modelled by Jade Lyon. It was well organised and set up, with Raj showing us several different lighting set ups and then breaking them apart so we could practice building it again ourselves. This was really useful, as it was hands-on practice, and gave us a chance to learn how to do it. There was plenty of time for each of us to shoot, and the photoshop practice at the end was also very helpful.

Raj is a friendly and patient instructor, and he and Jade were excellent hosts, along with their excellent training. I can definitely recommend them for a workshop!

I really really enjoyed my shoot this evening with Raj and Jade. Raj is very efficient and has a good attention to detail so we got some great shots. He was so easy to get along with and it was a great atmosphere. Thanks so much! Hope to work together again soon :)

I attended RajK photography lightening workshop today at Tower Hill, London. My observation was that the workshop was well thought out, it was obvious that RajK knows his stuff and most importantly knows how to impart his knowledge. Two models were on hand for us to shoot on the workshop. I learnt a lot and came away with some good images.

I have no problem in recommending the workshop to others who may be thinking of honing their skills .

So today I had the pleasure to work with Raj and ( his girlfriend) Jade on a very spontaneous shoot at an abandoned church in the middle of insanely stunning woodland. I must say they are both so lovely and I couldn't of spent my afternoon in better company, they are both very interesting people not to mention how talented they are! Raj gave great direction, and from what I saw on the camera we got awesome images. I can't wait to see the images, and I really hope we work together soon😊

I previously attended a studio lighting workshop with Raj and was inspired to return and attend a Speedlite workshop as well.

This session, with Jade Lyon once again in attendance, was equally as good if not better than the first.

Raj's technical guidance, knowledge and direction was once again superb. The workshop centered around the use of our own gear which is of course a great advantage and incredibly helpful. We covered a vast range of topics in the time available and once again I have come away with a great set of images.

Highly recommended.

I attended a speedlite class with Raj and his model girlfriend Jade. Raj worked very hard instructing us on the technicalities function and use of speedlites and certainly gave me confidence to move on and use them much more. Raj is very knowledgeable about all things photographic, he has studied it at University and worked for both Canon and Nikon so he really knows what he is talking about. Jade is a super model, gorgeous from every angle and very willing and compliant.

I had the great pleasure of attending Raj's new Speedlight course today.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and patient, Raj is keen for his students to learn properly by guiding them in using their own gear and setting up their own lighting.

Unlike some courses which can have 8 - 10 attendees (just too big) Raj deliberately keeps his numbers small and all attendees today agreed that they could easily duplicate later what they learned today

I have attended other Speedlight courses before and can say this was easily the best. I thus highly recommend both Raj and his courses and look forward to working with him again soon.

I attended Raj's "Narrative Lighting" workshop yesterday.

The session started with Raj setting up lights with different modifiers to demonstrate various points; subsequently we moved on to setting up scenes and working collectively to pose the model and arrange the lights. Raj knew his stuff, and his gentle manner and patient explanations made for a very enjoyable workshop. It was well-structured, relaxed but informative and with plenty of opportunity for questions, discussion and practice.

I attended the excellent "Narrative and Lighting essentials workshop" run by Raj and Jade earlier this week. Both Raj and Jade have a relaxed, informal teaching style that really helps to get across some of the more complex theories surrounding this topic. The workshop was held in a wonderful location, with plenty of scope for producing diverse narrative style shots. The workshop started with an introduction to the different light modifiers available and how to slowly build a scene starting from a single light source to a more complex setup involving multiple lights and modifiers.

I found the day an excellent experience and would thoroughly recommend

Raj is a truly talented photographer and knows how to create an awesome image. We had a great shoot together in Stanmer park, he was friendly and easy to talk to and I really enjoyed his company for the afternoon. He has a knack for creating a story behind an image which is something that makes his work interesting and unique. I am thrilled with how the photos turned out, was definitely one of my favourite shoots and I am looking forward to working together again. :)

I attended a Lighting Masterclass organised both by Raj and Jade Lyon. Raj's approach was very friendly and allowed plenty of input from all the attendees. The information and tuition was also delivered in a professional relaxed manner allowing great insight into lighting techniques. Highly recommended.

I attended Raj workshop about lighting master class with model Jade Lyon in a fantastic venue which was well chosen as it was very versatile for teaching in a narrative and studio way. Raj was very professional in explaining the lighting set ups but also allowed the attendees to build their own set up for trial and error to get amazing shots which really felt like team work. Raj was also very informative about technical insights which led everyone to understand better studio lighting techniques. The whole workshop was approached in a friendly manner to make the attendees feel comfortable in many ways.

Jade was a delightful and friendly model to work with during Raj's workshop, although very professional in her pose sequence she was open to directions from all the photographers.

I am already looking forward to Raj's next workshop and will book it straight away as it is highly recommended to attend.

Thanks Raj. Excellent workshop and your creativity and knowledge was exceptional. I liked your personal and friendly approach to teaching that also enables the attendee's to create their own scenes / narrative and dynamically feel a very active part of the proceedings.
