References for Henri Senders Photography

I visited Henri in the Netherlands for three nights. He arranged for us to stay with his photographer friend Hans in the countryside, and suggested a duo shoot with his model girlfriend, Ayla, to which I agreed so she joined us also. It was three days of hard work and early mornings, which I was overjoyed to do in such amazing company. I left physically exhausted but emotionally recharged, and feeling like I made three new, wonderful friends. I think we have produced some excellent work together and I'm excited to see the edited photos, but more than that I value the company and great conversations we have had, and can't wait to see Henry and his friends again - for photos or otherwise. :)

Herni is a truly special artist. Not only is he incredibly intuative and of course talented He is also a beautiful person extremely passionate and open working with him.has been an inspiring adventure. I hope we will work together so much more.

Henri is a wonderful artist to be around. He makes you see the things other photographers have never achieved and understands why you are here. I have never been able to express myself like i had yesterday afternoon and only within a short amount of time.

Henris eye for light, detail, colours, people and nature is on another level. A level that is unique and i would say world class.

If you believe in art and want another human to get it like you do then work with this man. Henri is kind, you can put all your trust and faith in him. Be free and feel so safe while doing so.

Henri is a true artist. Shooting with him was such a beautiful experience, the connection and conversation we had was so real and natural, it wasn't just an arrangement between strangers to arbitrarily add to a portfolio. I witnessed and participated in an artist's work. Henri really thinks about what he shoots, he captures emotion and beauty without objectifying. I cannot wait to shoot with him again. It was absolutely worth the cross country trip.

I’ve just got home after spending a wonderful but surreal 3 days with Henri doing shoots on location around Sheffield.

He was such a wonderful man to work with and made me feel so at ease with myself.

We were able to capture some wonderful images and I can’t wait to see them after editing.

He will get you up at the crack of dawn just to get the ‘best light’ and make you stand freezing in the cold while he does his artistic thing. But I promise it is worth the effort and the shivers!

I have been invited to stay with him in the Netherlands and I most definitely will be doing that. Can’t wait to work with him again

I don't even know where to start with the sheer artistic brilliance of this man!

Henri and I first made contact last year, and I knew I just had to work with him, so I jumped at the opportunity during his recent visit to Sheffield.

Henri's style reflects his deep understanding and high level of compassion for the models he works with; he sees and feels the stories behind the images he captures, and is able to convey honest raw emotion in a way which is both very real and pure.

Working with Henri was incredible, and a very powerful experience; I can’t wait to see the final images we created. Without doubt, I would love to work with Henri again and hope to visit him in the Netherlands very soon to continue on this journey, as this was just the first chapter!

I shot with Henri for 12hrs with breaks, starting at 4am for sunrise. Henri knows exactly what shots he wants to get and how to get them, but he's also a true artist with a camera, using his creativity to produce unique images.

He's also a wonderful human being, extremely kind and caring. I can't wait to shoot with him again.

Life-changing.

His work made me feel what I did not have words for expression and explanation and yet it spoke to me before I had a clue why.

I cannot recommend Henri because he possesses the freedom to choose whom to work with. And thus, he chooses you. All I can say, if you end up collaborating together, it's likely to witness a damn enlightening experience.

I worked with Henri for the first time during my tour in the Netherlands last weekend. Henri and Ayla kindly hosted me in their apartment. I felt completely safe and at ease while staying with them. Henri and Ayla are considerate, caring and easy-going hosts - what more can you ask!

For our shoot, we ventured outdoors in the cold, but it was so worth it. The raw images I saw after the shoot were amazing, can't wait to see the edits! Also Henri is really fun to talk to and he always made sure I was comfortable and not too cold.

I will be very happy to work with Henri again - in fact, we are planning our next shoot very soon! - and I highly recommend him to any model.

I have just had the most incredible week hosting my dear friend Henri who visited after much planning and discussion. We worked with four of the most wonderful models and had a bit of a 'road trip' down to Devon where Henri shot some of his finest work ever!

This has set the stage for regular visits to the UK and I look forward to many more collaborations with this artist.

Henri's work is in a league of it's own and most definitely can be categorised as World class so I am able to confidently affirm to ANY model who wants to work with him that you will ever enhance your portfolio as well as your life should you choose to grace this remarkable man with your presence.

Henri will be returning to the UK in the near future so watch out for our casting shouts!

I'm very blessed to have been one of the models that Henri chose to shoot while on visit to the U.K. And along with ArtHeart. We have had a wonderful day shooting in and around Devon. Even tho it rained we had a fabulous all day shoot. I am very much looking forward to seeing the results, specially some unique portraits. Henri put up a casting saying he was in the UK and my area and I jumped at the chance to work with him. His work is something special, I was very excited and he did not disappoint!

Henri is an incredible human being, a creative mind, animated, chatty and inspiring to be around. Getting up at the crack of dawn to shoot on the hills at sunrise was so worth it. This was followed by hours of wonderful conversation, inspiration and another fabulous location. Henri knows what he is doing even if there is no plan and has an incredible eye for detail. He knows how to work with a model to get the best out of them and I felt more and more confident as the shoot went on.

We have discussed shooting again and I'm more excited by this prospect than actually seeing the images (which I'm positive will be fab).

If you ever get the chance to work with this man in any capacity then do it!

I had the most magnificent privilege of working with Henri Senders during his trip to the UK. Along with ArtHeart, we spent a weekend in Devon, in an idyllic location. Never have I been so excited to wake up in time to catch the crack of dawn and stand, nude, in the cold mist! The scenery was breathtaking and the photographs we produced were nothing short of world-class. I feel extremely lucky to have met this man, let alone worked with him. Henri has a most enigmatic personality, which shines through every day, come rain or shine. We spent hours talking, myself, Fawnya, ArtHeart and Henri. He is a highly intelligent conversationalist with a warm heart that extends itself to everyone. And he gives the best hugs!!

Thank you, Henri, for giving me this opportunity. I dearly hope we shall work together again soon, as we have discussed.

Electric and I had a wonderful time with Henri and his lovely partner. They were very hospitable and made us feel at home from the onset. Shooting with Henri was fun and creative and it felt more like play than work. I love the depth he captures in each picture and cannot wait to see the finished images :)

I had a great shoot with Henri. Both himself and his partner were very hospitable and great hosts. They provided accommodation for myself and my partner and provided food throughout the day. Henri had his own unique style and a different approach to modelling which I sooner picked up during the few days I worked with him. His photography is fantastic and I look forward to viewing the final images!
