Rachel Igo

Rachel Igo was born and raised in Weymouth, MA, just south of Boston, where she cultivated her love for the arts. She discovered her passion for makeup artistry while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre with a Photography minor at Columbia College Chicago. Alongside her required Theatre classes, she took make-up classes such as prosthetics and make-up for the performer, before graduating in May 2018. Pursuing this newly discovered passion, she went on to earn a certificate at the Make-up Designory (MUD).

While attending MUD in Los Angeles, she studied beauty, editorial, special effects make-up, and hair styling. She found a great love in beauty make-up and excelled in enhancing a persons natural beauty. She was able to put her skills she learned from being a Photo Minor in college to use when working on photoshoots and uncovered an enjoyment within that atmosphere. Special effects has also proven to be a love for her. She enjoys both sculpting and creating characters from scratch.

Working as a freelance make-up artist, Rachel is available for print, commercial/tv/film, music videos, or red carpet work. She strives to be a part of a team that creates work that inspires both the subject and the audience.
