Grumpy

I was intrigued by the traditional Japanese kimono and wanted a shoot in an old ruin. The first attempt, before Christmas 2017, had to be canceled due to bad weather.

We finally managed yesterday, Sunday 29th January. We kept in touch regularly. Considering that Purupuru has been in Ireland only a few months, her command of English is truly amazing and improving.

She was punctual, professional and we had no language barrier.

She is a lovely girl, very intelligent and we had a great time, taking photos on the campus of Maynooth University, at the wall of Trim Castle and in Bective Abbey. The first results are on my gallery, more will follow.

I had such a lovely time shooting with Purupuru whilst in Dublin. Our time spent collaborating on imagery was not only creative but fulfilling. She takes direction and communicates very well. Professional, easygoing and an all around good person. Highly recommended!

Puru is a lovely young Japanese model with whom I had the pleasure of shooting recently. The shoot was in an apartment, in the afternoon so my favourite natural light photography was a bit challenging. We used a portable strobe for the last half of the shoot. The sets were varied, from Puru wearing her traditional kimono beside a window, to other kimonos, then some athletic poses, and finally with bath bombs! Fun was had and some very good images resulted. We are shooting again early in the New Year. I highly recommend Puru.
