After a genuine correspondence between a valued member and I recently, it occurred to me that my profile on Purpleport needed to be clarified - a lot. 

When I posted my profile here, I had a goal in mind - adding to the myriad of personalities: professionals, amateurs, and hobbyists of all body types and orientations to also include in this community persons with physical disabilities.

Wow, what if my profile was so curiously here that people would want to ask questions and debate? Why "curiously?" Questions of practicality and sensibility may ferment in the mind but I readily admit that I never intended to be a working model as can be seen by my spartan profile. I haven't posted schedules, inquiries, nor feedback like a working model would.

I am here symbolically, to add variety to a neighborhood that doesn't have enough disabled people living here, so to speak. I feel like this is a landmark rite of passage for me, a person dealing with cerebral palsy. 

The positions of a body while in repose in the studio,  or outside whether clothed or in the buff, is doubly challenging when mine becomes stubbornly uncooperative. 

And like so much of my life as a child and an adult, I live vicariously, unable to jump, bend, climb etc through the vibrant or mysterious photos before my eyes I absorb it all.

 

Finally, I would like to extend my belated apologies to all of you if my perusal of your port has vexed you, or otherwise, made you feel uncomfortable. That was never intended. I get lost in a beautiful face, mesmerized by the daunting landscapes and the equally jaw dropping speck of body form that drapes it, or cheeky photos of a bewitching model. I linger far too long.
