Hi everyone on Purpleport.

I have had a great interest in photography for many years, stretching back to the days of film SLRs. Back in the day, this was mainly landscape photography, and while I still enjoy this, I have a particular interest in modelling photography, from swimwear/lingerie, through topless/pin-up, to erotic/nude and beyond. I have shot a small amount of bondage/fetish, and would be keen to do more.

My mantra is that the most important aspect of any shoot is to keep the model or models comfortable and having fun. 

I am a creative soul who has played in bands, written a novel, and trodden the boards in am dram. I don't just point a camera, I want to get some artistic merit out of a shoot at whatever level I am working to.

Where am I, and can I get to you?

I live in Newcastle, Staffordshire. I have a lovely Victorian Villa that lends itself well to photography, and even has a very private garden for outdoor shoots.

I drive and can travel reasonable distances; perhaps further afield for the right assignment.

When am I available?

In general, I can arrange shoots weekday evenings, some Friday daytimes and weekends (I do have a full time day job!).

What do you get from a shoot with me?

Great communication - I'm proud of the always replies status.

A reliable photographer who will turn up on time.

A photographer who will listen to what you want to achieve.

Honesty - I'll tell you my limitations.

I will endeavour to produce the best images I possibly can for the people who model for me. I can do postproduction on photo shop, or models would be equally welcome to bring their own SD card and undertake postproduction themselves.

I will turn around any post production work within 2 weeks of your shoot.

I will pay models for the right assignment.

What do I like to shoot?

Scenes with a theme always interest me. I try to set the mood, and then try to tell a story with the photographs. I would be keen to hear from models about their ideas, and then try to realise them. Of course, I do have plenty of my own!

I have experience shooting duo scenes (girl/girl or boy/girl), and really enjoy these.

Final thoughts:

A conversation costs nothing but a little time, and can lead to great collaborations. I am open to suggestions and ideas. While my main interest lies in erotica, I would also like to shoot other styles, from portrait work to burlesque, as well as 'left field' ideas (which may or may not involve grass!). Therefore, feel free to ask a question and indulge yourself.

New to modelling?
I'm happy working with brand new models with no references, on the basis of good communication.

Building up a good portfolio is difficult when starting out, and being comfortable with your photographer and surroundings is the key to obtaining good shots. Much of my work on here features models who have never been in front of a camera before. I can direct and suggest ideas to get you some great results.

My wife can act as chaperone on request.
