Mike Baker

As a trained and experienced photojournalist, who provides photographic services for corporate clients and communication agencies, I believe it is vital to keep my work relevant and current, in a fast-changing technical industry.

For the past two decades my images have been used to illustrate news, events and features for newspapers, magazines and websites across the Midlands. Being Chief Photographer for several Johnston Press newspapers honed my photographic skills and specialised industry knowledge while allowing me to adapt to the changing media landscape.

Moving forward, my desire to use the skills and knowledge I have gained through the years, both working with people of all walks of life, continued training and enhancement of skills and the understanding I have with shaping and sculpting with light - these are the elements that have brought me full circle, back to portraiture, but with a fresh style, enthusiasm and approach, to create and capture images that are relevant to todays market.
