Did a surprise duo shoot with Jim and Alley as the makeup artist today. Alley is a wonderful lady with such a big heart and is professional when performing makeup which was done to a very high standard. Jim and Alley are such great characters and have had plenty of laughs with the first shoot with them. Highly recommend her and would love to shoot with you again sometime!

Oh, I love Alley. She's beautiful, brilliant, quite mad, artistic to the bones, chatty, lovely to be around, just a pleasure to create with - Paul Davies at F/8 Studio in Gloucester contacted me to book me as a surprise shoot for this lovely soul, and what an excellent day it was! We shot a butt load of sets; fashion, nudes with crazy lighting, got friendly with a few mannequins, edgy portraits, slapped the wind machine on, pulled a few dodgy faces - it was immense.

Would highly recommend Alley, she's a sweet soul - cannae wait to work with you again lady.

I had a great shoot here today with GJP. Coincidencetly, our first shoot together was at PoZers and we are now on shoot goodness knows what, so that's a good sign!

Alley, who runs the studio, is fab, always on hand, has an array of costumes and props and a great selection of tea and squash!

The big selling point for me though is her love of Alice in Wonderland!

Thanks for having us, it was fab and I'd certainly recommend the studio (and Alley).

I am so glad that I got to come back for a second studio day with Alley at PozersStudio :D As always Alley went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home, and that all the shoots were a great success.

She put an enormous amount of effort into filling the bookings after a last minute cancellation and I can't thank her enough. Alley let me stay at her house which is not only very convenient but a lovely experience as her family is lovely and make you instant feel at home. As I am backpacking I didn't have that many outfits with me but Alley was more than happy to let me rummage through the many items at Pozers (thank you!!).

We were both still in the creative vibe after the last photographer left so I suggested we did a little shoot for fun and the resulting photos are stunning I am so happy with them! I had a fantastic weekend, got to work with so many lovely and very talented photographers. Alley's knowledge of the industry, lighting and photography is top notch.

I love the magic that happens in Pozers and can't wait to come back again!!

Another brilliant shoot with Alley at the studio, Pozers is one of my favourite studios to in. Alley always makes me feel at home and comfortable whenever I am there.

I always leave smiling, Alley puts in a lot of work whether it be her own workshops or helping photographer's with their own 1:1 shoots, nothing is too much hassle.

Had my first shoot at PoZers. Alley is brilliant she made me feel welcome the moment I walked through the door. We had discussed what I hoped to achieve a few days before and the lighting was set up ready to go when I arrived. Alley was on hand to offer lots of help and advice and provide plenty of refreshments. Very relaxed and welcoming place to work

Had my first studio weekend at Pozers studio last weekend and it was amazing! Alley is one of the most accommodating person I've ever met, picked me up and dropped me off at the station, provided accommodation, made sure I always had enough food and drink during the day, and always looked after me and the photographers while we were shooting. The studio looks great, plenty of props and countless outfits, costumes and accessories to use.

Would gladly go back anytime!

Yayyyy, Alley to the rescue, after me being a complete numpty bucket, with new camera kit. Nothing is too much trouble for this wonderful lady. Attending a shoot with Tillie Feather at Pozers, was an absolute pleasure, Alley was on hand to assist with a couple of ideas and as usual supplied all the help and support we, as photographers could hope for. Here's what happened. I jumped onto a plane back to the UK for a week. On the way, I decide that I'd like to do a couple of shoots when I'm over in the UK. So I shoot Alley a message and we have a chat over whatsapp. And in literally a number of hours, Alley was able to organise two sensational models for me to shoot with (Carla and Katex). The shoots themselves were awesome (references provided separately) - but Alley was not only sensational in putting together such a good day of shooting, she also assisted where needed with lighting and backdrop changes - including a perfect statuesque English Rose scene for me. Wholeheartedly recommend any tog looking to book a shoot in the South West, to reach out to Alley at Pozers in the first instance - she works magic.

Had a super 3+ hours when the studio hosted a Creative Hub small group shoot. Alley was brilliant as our host. Her job description starts way before her meet and greet the photographers and sort our first cup of tea. We don't see the many hours of effort beforehand ensuring two models are ready, schedule sorted and first of several setups ready. She is great with sorting the studio lights and fine tuning them. Cheerful throughout and even though we ran over not flustered in any way and ready to start again when the afternoon group arrived!

It was great to meet Alley after exchanging mails on PP. I was one of the photographers on a Creative Hub shoot on 24th November. A great studio and Alley was on hand to greet me with a coffee. She is a wonderful hostess and arranging this shoot which went really well. A big thank you to Alley and I will be travelling to Cricklade again very soon!

Take in the Alps

The story so far:

Alley Stallard establishes herself as a gem in the cornerstone of the empire that is Purpleport. A bunch of brilliant photographers recognise her as such and apply for a preservation order to the powers that be so that this wonderful foundation in stellar creativity can never be disturbed. Despite her extraordinary standing in the art of photography and all its myriad aspects including hair and make up, Alley still remains relatively undiscovered by the great mass of photographers and models that frequent/clutter up the pp empire. However Alley strikes back with a string of mouth-wateringly enticing events that rock the known pp world. Even those that felt as if they didn’t have a whole bunch of ideas started to think of themselves as creative individuals and certainly part of the Alley revolution. Some of them even considered themselves to be geniuses of lighting; or at least they could see that some damn fine lighting was now showing up in their pics. Secretly, and in their own minds, they attributed this upturn in fortune and improvement in their pics to Alley. And so in time and given the social nature of this empire many more pps came to sup at Alley’s table; some of them even became drunk on their own great artistry.

Around this time, something else started to happen but I can’t remember what it was. Wait a minute ... oh yes ... many of the wisest photographers and models went beyond the one remaining dark room in the empire and began developing a deep vein of respect bordering on love for all things Alley related. That love even showed up in the photos they took, looking incandescently colourful in every inch of their photographic output. And that love just kept getting bigger and bigger. You could get a feel for it on all sorts of social media platforms. A comment here, an emoji there - it all contributed to the wave of affection that headed through the empire in Alley’s direction, knocking on the door of two grand studios - Pozers and F/8. The general consensus was that if there was ever going to be a major crisis in the empire only Alley would have the necessary accoutrements to save it. And if that day ever came I personally would be right behind Alley and she in front of me. That way I know nothing would ever go wrong for me; my little steaming tea mug of a life would never go cold; my memory card of first rate experiences would never run out; my lens unto the world would always be a perfect fit.

One day I decided to do some thorough research into whether or not Alley could really save the empire if there was ever a gargantuan crisis. On a murky Swindon of a day I arrived at Pozers in a van laden with a Royal Enfield motorbike. To be continued dot dot dot

Sunday the 10th November I had the privilege of shooting at poZersStudio which is owned by Alley Stallard. What an amazing woman Alley is. I was made to feel very welcome straight away. Endless cups of tea and biscuits on hand. Also Alley was great with helping to set up the shoots I wanted aswell with great lighting knowledge.

I will definitely shoot at poZersStudio again in the near future.

I have shot at Pozers a number of times now over the last year or so and just wanted to say a big thank you to Alley for always bringing her enthusiasm, professionalism and smile to the every shoot.

The studio may be small but it offers countless opportunities to create some great images and Alley is always there to offer help and advice.
