References for Poppy Haskell

This was my first shoot with Poppy, yet it seemed like we had shot before many times. Her pre and post shoot comms were excellent, clear, unambiguous and relevant without being overly formal. On set she was bright, upbeat and displayed a good sense of humour and was personably chatty throughout the afternoon.

Poppy needs very little direction but interpreted my direction very well and was amenable and willing to contribute freely with her own ideas. She was well presented throughout the shoot and maintained a fresh look, good hair, makeup and attire.

Poppy is very easy to get along with, shoots extremely well, and is obviously a very beautiful lady. The images we have created in a short shoot are, in my opinion, top drawer and will enhance both of our portfolios. I look forward very much to working with Poppy again in 2018. Highly recommended x

Had my second shoot with Poppy this weekend at the Kris Karl workshop held at the Scarlet Door Studio, Poppy is really down to earth and just a joy to work with, she can lead without directions and happy to take direction if you what to cover something specific.

Thoroughly enjoyed the discussion about snot bubbles, not quite sure how we got onto that topic but very funny never the less, it was absolute joy working with Poppy and cannot recomend her enough, big thanks Poppy was a great day :)

I have worked with poppy many times before, and each time we shoot, we get amazing images. Not much direction needed, as she knows her job well. She's fun, has a great sense of humour and a great attitude. An absolute pleasure to work with. And hopefully it won't be our last. 100% recommended Thanks Poppy 😊

I never post comments till |I have worked on imagery that shows what I can achieve with a model. Mine is not a normal style, but it is my own. I have been lucky enough to find models who can work with my "Quirky" ideas, and do them justice. Poppy is one of the best!

just had my gazillionth shoot with Poppy and every time just seems to get better and better as do the shots.Poppy is just as happy to shoot in the cold and the wind as she is to shoot in the sun. Very professional,able to understand what you are after and able to add her own twists to it as well.Highly recommended to all of you.

She is funny and really cool. I would highly recommend her to any photographer wanting to create some awesome images. I look forward to shooting with her again. Sometimes I Take Pictures

Poppy not only understands what you want to achieve she also puts 100% effort and enthusiasm into the getting you there as well. We had discussed the concept of this shoot during our last meeting. Poppy was enthusiastic to do the shoot knowing full well it was an early start and it could possibly be freezing cold (which it was). Poppy arrived exactly on time with everything we had discussed to bring with her. My wife who was the hair stylist for the shoot took an instant dislike to Poppy, she stated and I quote “how the hell can someone look so good at this time in the morning?’ which I totally agree. Poppy is a very naturally stunning model with a great personality to. During the shoot she was funny and cheerful throughout. Again can’t recommend her highly enough, thank you for putting up with the conditions and for helping to create a such great shoot!

From previous experience Poppy is beautiful, energetic and a delight to work with. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the shoot this time but Poppy was reasonable and helped where she could. You should 100% book her.

I worked with Poppy on a workshop earlier this week. Poppy was fantastic to work with; she was friendly and professional throughout, and certainly has a good sense of humour to help keep the energy flowing. Poppy really knows her poses and craft, and she offers a great range of expressions to suit the style of image. I found it was very easy to get across what I was aiming for, and within moments Poppy was able to deliver the desired pose perfectly.

It was a real pleasure working with Poppy, and I highly recommend booking her.

Had what I think may be my 6th or 7th amazing shoot with Poppy on Tuesday! :-) working with Poppy is an absolute joy, and I think a big advantage of working together lot son times is you can build up rapport and get better and better shots every time :-) Poppy always has amazing outfits to shoot with and her new place is an amazing location with some fantastic natural light :-) Poppy's posing is really strong, showing her incredible figure to fantastic effect in the shots - she is also always up for trying crazy ideas and experimental shots, which sometimes lead to amazing images you would't other wise have got - this time her awesome cats got in on the photo shot! :-) every shoot with Poppy is amazing fun and every time I come away with amazing shots! :-) totally recommended - looking forward to shooting with Poppy again V soon - and again and again! :-)

Just had a great shoot with Poppy. Professional,beautiful,fun,relaxed and in my opinion one of the uk's top models. The range of her modelling skills and looks is truly vast and i certainly suggest you go find out for yourselves as she knows how to deliver, highly recommend

I shot with Poppy for the first time at one of Kris Karl's workshops and the images are just incredible. Poppy is a complete professional, supportive, incredibly easy going and a ton of fun. A real joy to work with.

We must have run through 8 different set ups across a full day, with a different wardrobe for each yet Poppy made it look so easy and looked immaculate throughout.

There few words that describe just how good Poppy is. Little or no direction is an understatement. Poppy just knows what to do to get the best shots, she knows what looks great and just does it.

Really looking forward to working with Poppy again soon, and recommend others to as well!

Very productive shoot (I was in one of those creative moods) and I also tried 5 different new techniques. Poppy was great throughout... very nice to chat to, and very aware of what I wanted with poses. She understood my style immediately, and was often able to read my mind, which meant I didn't even have to finish a question "would you mind doing xyz" and there it unfolded before my eyes. A clever and very intuitive girl, very aware of light sources and how to pose beautifully. I very much liked her style and choices starting with her portfolio before we even met. It's nice to work with models who still look great and have plenty of experience. Brilliant !

Sometimes I Take Pictures

Since shooting Poppy for the first time on Monday I have received a tone of compliments from seasoned photographers about how stunning Poppy looks and I totally agree. Communication was great with a txt the night before confirming everything was in order. Poppy arrived on time (for Dorset, you need to drive here to understand) with everything that we had discussed with her well prepared for the shoot. Poppy understood exactly what we were trying to achieve and fulfilled her role perfectly. The time flew by! It goes without saying I would recommend Poppy 100% lovely girl and a great model! I look forward to our next shoot!

World of Light

I have shot with Poppy on two occasions at Scarlet Door, firstly on a workshop and then we had a quick one to one session. Very easy to work with Poppy is a super model who needs little direction and her look is spot on so you can see why she has been shot by some of the best photographers around.

Poppy chose a gorgeous location to shoot, near her South Coast home. She was really perceptive; completely understanding the sort of natural looking pictures I was after. Throughout our two hours she looked completely perfect. Of course Poppy is extremely professional and truly beautiful but she's also a really nice, highly likeable, fun person to spend time with.

Stylish ,Classy ,Beautiful ,Elegant ,Professional ,fun the list goes on .Apart from being a really enjoyable shoot the images that we are producing seem to get better and better. I'm fortunate that this young lady is local but i would travel cross country to work with this girl, i recommend you all do the same :-)

Have lost count of the number if times I have shot with Poppy, but every time has been amazing! :-) this time we shot for the first time at her new place, which has some fantastic possibilities for shots and tried a wet look / shower shoot, which neither of us had shot before, but which was awesome! :-) as ever shooting as Poppy was a complete joy - she is an outstanding model in every respect! Every time I shoot with her i always have lots of fun and come away with amazing images! :-) I would totally recommend Poppy and look forward to shooting with her again soon! :-)
