Platform3

Platform3 studio is available for hire by photographers or models for all your photographic projects. The studio is available to hire on a daily or hourly basis [min booking 2 hours].

Based in Cork city centre we are very close to multi-storey parking and all the shopping areas of the city. We are surrounded by excellent restaurants and coffee shops for when you need to take a break from shooting!

We also regularly run Workshops with visiting models and run courses and workshops on many photographic subjects from Fine Art Nude to Black and White darkroom practices and techniques and Alternative/Vintage printing as we have a analogue Darkroom on site also. 

Models can hire the studio to run "Model days" and we can assist with promotion to clients using our website and our extensive mailing list. If you are a travelling or local model and wish to run a studio day please contact us anytime to discuss details and "Models Rates" for the studio.

The studio is well equipped with a variety of pull down backdrops at one end of the studio and a large selection of Elinchrom lighting and modifiers. We also have two continuous lights with soft boxes and there are two large windows at one end of the studio for shooting with natural light during daylight hours. There is a small area of graffiti wall and sections of walls are painted different colours giving you loads of possibilities during shoots. Various props and some wardrobe offerings are also available. If you need an MUA on your visit we can offer some recommendations.
