Hi, I’m Gill. I started photography around 40 years ago, taking black and white photos with my Mum’s Box Brownie camera, and developing and printing them in the garage with my Dad. As I grew, so did my interest in photography, and my range of equipment. My parents have a lot to answer for!I managed to develop a style of my own for still life photography, mainly using quirky toys and items from around the home, and this has given me the skills to undertake product photography – providing images which can show manufactured products, food, or crafts off to best advantage.

However I’ve always liked people, and have recently honed my portraiture skills. 

I’m based on the Welsh border near Chester, and am happy to travel around North East Wales, Cheshire and the Wirral. I could list my equipment so you know what I’m using – but unless you’re a photographer yourself, I suspect you’ll be more interested in the photos than the equipment! Suffice to say that I shoot Canon, and have a good quality camera, lenses and lighting equipment. I can set up lighting equipment to create a professionally lit photo of you in your own environment. Or if you would like a softer photo, I can take your portrait in natural light at the location of your choice. My aim is to take a portrait of you to bring out your personality in an environment you’re comfortable in. And for both of us to enjoy the process!
