After popping up a relatively last min availability casting, Simon replied with matching availability and invited me to travel to Essex for a shoot at his studio. This was first time coming to Essex for work, and a long time coming to Essex generally, so i was already super excited when I hopped from train to train on my early morning commute and the 3.5hr journey each way was actually nothing but enjoyable! Simon then kindly picked me up from the local station and we were ready to shoot! Thankfully we decided to shoot for 4 hours instead of the previously mentioned 3 as Simon had an abundance of set ideas and I feel our creative collaborative natures bounced off one another really well and we really worked each set! The BOC has me really excited to see the final edits and if the enjoyment of the day is anything to go by, I know they’re going to be fantastic. I would love to work with Simon again (and v soon my commute wold be much shorter 😊) and I highly recommend both himself and the studio in Rayleigh to any other models! Thanks Simon!

Simon is a lovely guy to work with, he doesn’t over direct and shoots at a good pace.

I had a photo shoot with Simon in his studio and can only highly recommend shooting with him.

From the very beginning to the end everything was working out in a beautiful flow.

He was so kind and picked me up from the station, had made up his mind about the settings and properly prepared for it; nevertheless there was always time to go for some spontaneous ideas too.

I saw some pictures on the camera screen and they look stunning.

I cannot wait to see the final outcome of our shooting.

what an amazing shoot with Simon! I say he is incredible all around. we did shoot in rayleigh, A great photographer and first of all a great person. His knowledge about lighting is fantastic. had a great time shooting and created some fantastic shots. Pre communications were good, and 100% professional.

he was so generous to pick me up from the station and drop me back at the station after the shoot,

Simon always has a plan or approach to a shoot which is great to work from, but he is also very creative and happy to flow on the day.

I had the best time shooting with Simon, and from the BOC I think his images will be some of my best work!

We shot together at Paul's Manor House Event, I'm so glad I got to shoot with Simon, he was brilliant to work with.

Our first session was in a grand bedroom with the most beautiful windows and luxurious bed.

Simons lighting was superb, made me feel glamorous and glowy. This was perfect for the boudoir set and really set the mood. He gave great direction and had some really great ideas too (even demonstrating some posing - Simon you are fabulous darling!)

We moved onto the bed, capturing some playful concealed nude images. This was a lot of fun and again Simon gives great direction and the images were looking fabulous! He often showed me the back of the camera which I really appreciate, all of the above combined with excellent communication, we were able to collaborate on such an enjoyable level and it was just a really productive shoot.

Once Simon is happy he's got an image he can use we will move onto something else which keeps the shoot interesting, I was not bored for a single second. Simon allowed me to pitch in on some ideas, which made me feel great when he was on board with the denim set. I'm really exited to see those ones! Simon's quick thinking and creative mind allowed for us to use the biggest reflector ever!

The last set in the room in front of the art piece, at first I didn't like it and felt it was distracting, but Simon made it work. He's brilliant!

After a break we moved downstairs to one of the lounges. Simon was open to outfit changes and together we decided on some outfits that would work for the room. Just wow, Simon has such a good eye for composition and it was awesome that we agreed on everything! I love working with someone where you're both on the same page and the shoot just flows. It was possibly my most productive shoot ever and I'm just so so happy that I had the opportunity to attend such an amazing event and work with someone as professional as Simon.

We shot in front of these large floor-to-ceiling doors. For this set Simon had picked out my suit and paired it with a corset, it looked so cool! I felt fabulous and very Vogue :D Like we were shooting for a magazine!

I'm sorry to waffle on, I just loved this shoot so much. When we ran out of time, Simon was packing up, I noticed the beautiful light coming through the glass doors. We did a very quick last set and some art nude just outside and they were probably my favourite images from the day.

Thank so sooo so much Simon, for one of my favourite ever shoots! I hope we can work together again

Summers Abroad

Simon joined us on our B.E.A.C.H event. It was our creative collection event of the summer so we had multiple themes all under one roof; Sci-Fi, 70’s, Copa Cabana, Arabian Nights, Venice Beach and Movie Night.

Simon came along to an afternoon and a morning slot on different days to shoot with the variety of models available and it was lovely hosting him on another event after 2 years since the last!

We can happily recommend Simon and hope to host him again in future :)
