Pete and I have been chatting on and off for quite some time and found a window today. He turned up fully equipped and ready to go - we chatted lots during the shoot and that makes for such an 'at ease' shoot - I've not seen the work yet but reckon there will be plenty of signature shots which I'm really excited about. Overall a really relaxed experience and happy to work together again!

I enjoyed a really fun afternoon with Pete. who was kind enough to travel a considerable distance to reach my home in Pembrokeshire.

We had a 'mutual shoot' - where each of us acted as photographer and then as model. It was enjoyable, amusing and exciting to trade places with someone who was equally at home on both sides of the camera. It was very easy to relax with Pete as he is a kind, personable chap who definitely got the best out of me, and made a splendid model himself. Our dog took to him (which is always a good sign) and acted as his co-model in some shots.

I finished our shoot feeling tired but extremely happy with some excellent photos. I really do hope that my model/fellow photographer left feeling that I'd done him justice and that he'd also got the shots he particularly wanted. I did my best!

Time well-spent and that I'd be delighted to repeat.

Pete's communication before the shoot was so good, I was confident it would all work out well. Not only a great subject, with a strong face and physique, he has class. He also contributed professional skills which made me think more about what I was doing. Also computer savvy - I was very grateful for his helpfulness re image transfer and lenses. More to Pete than meets the eye and considering this was his first shoot, I have an idea good things will happen in the future.
