I had my first shoot with Ian and before I even say anything else, this was one of the most relaxed and enjoyable shoots I’ve ever done so far! Ian is fab!

Great set up, full of ideas, had snacks waiting also (bonus lol!). Ian had a large range of outfits to try in the 50’s authentic style which actually lifted soooo much stress off me as I just had to show up and dress up! I really enjoyed the freedom Ian also has with the clothing also and really utilising the creative collab element to the shoot.

The entire shoot was fun, enjoyable and was an easy flow where we worked together! He had lots of props also which was great to experiment with in the spot and try out posing with.

I would highly recommend working with Ian! And I hope to again in future and can’t wait to see the outcome :)

So this was my first time working with Ian and funny enough first time doing 50s style, which was nice doing something I had never done before, I was very impressed with the studio and was quite easy to find, Ian had great communication through the entire shoot before and after. Ian is a lovely experienced and professional photographer who knows what he wants from a shoot and his knowledge on 50s is top notch and outfit choices were amazing, I had a fantastic time and I highly recommend Ian to all and look forward to working with him again x

Had another shoot with Photopat this time a 50s themed shoot.

As usual the shoot went very well.

Precomms were great with clear communication.

Photopat has an amazing collection of vintage clothing which we used for the shoot

We got amazing images and I'm happy with the results

I'd highly recommend working with this photographer if you get the chance

Ian is always well prepared with lots lovely costumes and props for the shoot and he always come on time. Thats my third time shot with Ian already and he is very easy going as usual...and he never push my levels and let me pose freely and he shots efficiently and communicates well throughout the shoot. Would high recommend this gentleman to everyone and would love to shoot with him again as I like his ideas for shoots its fun.

I had a wonderful vintage themed photoshoot with Ian, pre-comms were fab and he came to the station to pick me up. He brought his own collection of 50's & 60's garments and some props.

He is very easygoing but serious about his passion and hobby. I think the pictures will be very artistic and lovely. I look forward to working for him again and highly recommend him to any model!😀

Every outfit was amazing and I couldn't have been happier with the atmosphere and professionalism throughout.

I cannot recommend Ian enough! An absolute gentleman. We had a lovely wee informal shoot in Edinburgh old town and it was a great way to spend an afternoon. He even bought me a tea 😄. I was spoiled with images afterwards and a couple of them are amongst my favourite images of me ever. Another shoot is long overdue!

Had a great shoot with Ian in edinburgh at Dean village. The images were great and I loved the tartan jacket and hat. He was very friendly and professional. He captured some great images and we used a telephone box in the area too. He gave great direction and was lovely to chat to as well.

Christmas pin up at Synergy photography studio.

A fabulous third shoot with Ian at my Christmas pin up event he attended at Synergy photography studio with Creative Makeup by Saskia.

A real pleasure to work with Ian again treating him to a variety of festive pin up looks. He arrived on time, eager and excited to capture some truly beautiful images.

Ian works so well in a group environment or a 1-1 session, he is respectful and professional, friendly and easy to work with really making use of his time well and taking a good variety of gorgeous images, bringing out that timelessness we were looking to create. We had a really fun group shoot and the time flew by.

Highly recommended to all. Don't miss out on a shoot with Ian, you will enjoy working with him so much and create some lovely works together.

Joker cosplay.

I really enjoyed my second shoot with Ian modelling for an exciting Halloween themed group shoot he attended hosted at Synergy photography studio doing a female version of Heath Ledgers Joker character from 'The Dark Knight' with my crazy Joker look created by the amazing in house makeup artist and host Creative Makeup by Saskia and styled by us both.

Ian arrived on time, full of enthusiasm to take some fantastic imagery and that he did getting a great variety of poses. A very professional and creative photographer working well in a group shoot environment and using his time well.

Ian loved our psychopathic Joker character we created and made excellent use of the props we had with lots of ideas, so relaxed and fun to shoot with but does not mess around and captured a wonderful variety of excellent images leaving with a smile.

Professional and respectful, giving great direction Ian has some fab ideas and puts his all into the time shooting with you.

I highly recommend Ian to all creatives. Don't miss out on the opportunity to work alongside him. He is kind, friendly and always really nice to shoot with plus he takes such lovely images. Thank you so much for attending and I look forward to our next shoot together.

I had a lovely 50s style shoot today with Ian on my Candy Heart studio day. He showed up on time and was very well prepared with plenty of outfits and bags full of interesting props!

He was polite and relaxed throughout, he had a good idea of the kind of shots he wanted to get, but was happy to listen to any suggestions I had and let me pose freely.

I had a really enjoyable time doing something a little bit different, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any model, and I hope to shoot with him again in future :)

I had a very enjoyable shoot with Ian during my recent trip to Edinburgh. He was kind enough to pick me up from the airport and walk me to the train station afterwards - what a gent! We shot from his home studio and Ian supplied several brand new and very beautiful outfits; combined with my own pieces, we shot loads in just 2 hours! I found Ian to be friendly, genuine, enthusiastic and professional. I'd be delighted to work with him again and would recommend him to others.
