St Joan of Arc was executed on 30th May 1431
She lead the French armies against the English as the 100 year war raged.
She first had a vision at the age of 13 which lead her to the King of France. He believed she was lead by a Devine being and sent her to the battlefields.
After several victories her name was known throughout France and the English feared her on the battlefield.
Joan was fearless however she would not fight she held her banner and lead with passion.
Joan was burnt alive at the stake on 30th May 1431
