References for The Photocove Studio

Had another fantastic shoot in the Photocove today - using Studio 1 - and as ever totally recommended!

Phil was on hand to let me in a little early to prepare for first model, and helped me with the background and lighting setup, as well as stocking up the fridge for brews!

Already planning next shoot in this great studio!

Had a fantastic first shoot in this amazing studio, and cannot recommend it enough - amazing place!

Location is excellent (only a short walk from Picaddily station) and the old industrial mill in which it is situated is stunning, more graffiti walls, murals, industrial features (heavy metal doors, old lifts and metal staircases etc) and a host of hidden nooks and crannies.

Inside the studio is well equipped and interesting, with a second room we didn’t get to make use of (but hopefully next shoot)

Help was on hand if needed, with friendly advice, but then happy to leave you to it once settled in - exactly the right balance.

Second session already booked in!

What a great space. Shot here at the same time they were having the studios 3rd birthday party. While some might have seen this as a downside, i thought it was great as you could really see the community atmosphere they have built and it said a lot about jenny and matt and what this studio is doing for creatives in manchester. Pre shoot coms were great, dont expect prosecco on arrival next time but still could not have felt mire welcome. Had all the toys and we got some great shots. Will definitely be using this place again

Had a great 3 hour shoot this morning at the photocove, really cute, rustic & smaller studio but more than adequate for our needs. Friendly host couldn't do enough for us. We had a slight technical issue that was beyond ours or there control but was compensated with some free studio when we return, and we defo will.........! Throughly recommend.......

Shot at this studio the other day with my own photographer and it was absolutely great!

Lovely little studio with a brilliant photocove and a fantastic vintage wall of mirrors! Had plenty of brilliant props to use as well..

The studio was well equipped and Jenny and Matt the studio owners were on hand to help out and they were so friendly and brilliant to talk to and get on with!

They made us drinks and feel very welcome and comfortable.

I would definitely shoot here again and would strongly recommend the studio and the owners are fantastic, can't wait for my next shoot!

A great first shoot at this new funky little studio. Plenty of equipment and some great props combined with some unique shooting opportunities made this a great choice for shooting with Sasha Jax. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and their energy carries over in to the studio, making this feel homely with all the facilities you could need. Loyalty card scheme makes for another great reason to choose Photocove. Yup, I will be back for sure.

Shot for the first time at the PhotoCove on Sunday off the back of a recommendation from a fellow photographer - and one of the best decisions I made!

Pre-shoot communication and clarification for my questions was awesome - the studio is situated away enough from right in the centre that parking etc. is still fine, but close enough that taxis / to pick people up from stations is also really easy.

Met promptly and on time, and showed around the studio - I was amazed by how many backgrounds, light options, resources were all available in the studio, and yet it still didn't feel cramped (I had 15 in on Sunday and it felt fine!!)

Wonderful collection of mirrors that made even getting makeup done a real experience and got some great BTS photos.

Rates were more than reasonable, it's amazing to find such a great value for money studio only an hour away from where I am.

Can't wait to shoot more there, and definitely will be booking again! ♥

Shot here on Sunday for a corset and headdress shoot with Newo and a big team of other models, muas and designers. I was really impressed with this studio. The cove itself is great and there are also plenty of other backdrops to use so you can really get a great variety of looks. The furniture and decor there were beautiful too and it was clean and tidy with great facilities. I'd definitely recommend to others. Kira x
