This waterfall is usually a raging torrent, with a whirlpool and lots of undercurrents that can pull an unsuspecting person under overhanging rocks beneath the surface to their doom.
In 13 years of shooting here I have never asked or let a model go into the water of the main plunge pool because it has been too dangerous to risk. However, during the second session of our Art Nude In The Landscape Experience, we discovered that it had slowed to a trickle and the currents the waterfall usually creates were absent. Keira, being an experienced wild swimmer, was keen to take advantage to create an image set and we both agreed it was finally safe enough to give it a go.
