Ove and I had worked together what feels like a lifetime ago! We kept in touch and every now and again tried lining up availability for more shoots when I was travelling through his neck of the woods etc. But we always just managed to miss each other. Until now! 😁 The reunion happened at last - and it was marvellous... A creatively-charged mix of indoors at Ove’s place, plus location work at a stupendous spot close by that Ove knew well and had scouted beforehand. What’s also quite astonishing in such a good way about this shoot, is that it all came together very last minute! It was my first big tour since things had properly eased with the pandemic and everything... For a number of reasons I was driving this time - which subsequently gave me more flexibility at the end of my trip (instead of needing to catch a pre-booked train home for example!) With Ove also offering kind hospitality with great communications; we did it! 😃 We got something in our diaries before I left Bonnie Scotland, and we had a cracking time. So pleased we managed to make it work. ☺️

The location work we did was very inspired/emotive and it helped that Ove knew the place well. Ove was understanding and respectful of me wanting to stick to certain styles out of respect for the derelict church/graveyard site - and actually we produced some very meaningful and story telling images which looked absolutely the part whilst having total respect for the area that we were working in. It was quite busy with dog walkers but we just worked between them passing (usually receiving complimentary remarks of appreciation) and then we planned carefully what we would do for each shot and bounced off each other like we have done so well previously. 🙂

After the first half: we had our way back to Ove’s apartment location which was just the place for fabulous natural light images! We had a perfect sunny day as well which meant we were able to take full advantage of the conditions and create some aesthetically wonderful shots across a range of styles and outfits. 👌 We were on a roll completely; and Ove dealt with the challenge of the light changing/glaring strongly through the window with what seemed like very little effort at all. He knows his stuff basically - and how to get the best results from a particular locations/setting. 😃

He’s since kindly sent me some images, and they do look inspired! It was just great to bring that rapport alive again, and I also cannot thank Ove enough for all the efforts he put in to make sure I was well looked after and felt at ease! Everything from the overnight stay to going out to pick me some food up for the shoot... He’s a real gentleman who thinks about these things you see. 😊 Very nice company too - I forgot how much we chat when we shoot haha!

Had an incredible shoot with PhotoByOve at my Apartment in Edinburgh during my Tour.

Communication prior to shooting was great. On the day of the shoot Ove was chatty and easy to get along with. This really put me at ease during the shoot. I love how relaxed and low pressure the shoot was. As I flowed through poses we got through a variety of different outfits and looks in a short space of time.

We had a good chat and a shoot and I really enjoyed meeting and working with Ove. He also sent me some edits and I love the images I’m so pleased with the results!

Professional, Respectful, Easy to work with and Talk to! 110% recommended.

Lanzarote soo he came to Fuerteventura to do a photo session and because he had never been here before. He is kind, polite and easy to work with.

Ove and I arranged a last minute shoot, but comms couldn't have been clearer. We shot the next day at Ove's really cool flat in East London, incorporating a mix of styles including wine and cherries as props (I may have nibbled at the latter too). It was a super chill shoot and perfect for a weekend morning - Ove is a professional and kind photographer. Some great edits coming out of the shoot too!

Loved working with him! Hope to do so again :)

Ove initially booked 2hrs on my Hacienda studio day, worried that he hadn't booked enough time, but of course 2hrs was fine. He later changed it to a half day booking, letting me know he had to take a call half way through but that he would still cover the whole fee, the studio proceeds which of course go straight to the Shelter From The Storm charity. Throughout our communication in arranging this shoot, Ove has been nothing but clear, concise, respectful and generous. It's a really great first impression!

In person, Ove is very much like his communication online.. a delight! He loved my sparkly outfits I brought for the styling, we used a fan to blow scarves and my hair.. the theme of the day was opulent & we certainly managed that.

Thank you for a wonderful shoot, I would be very happy to work with you again some time :)

Ove joined me at the Hacienda this weekend , and it was a wonderful shoot . Ove is a lovley , person very down to earth , a pleasure to talk to and well mannered

Ove utilised the characteristics of the space using them as backdrops for the shot , and moving some furniture around to create his own sets . We didn't have bags of time but we used the time that we had and it was a productive few hours .

Look forward to seeing the results and I would happily work together again .

I had a wonderful photo shoot with Ove on my most recent tour of Scotland: he booked a really lovely apartment for us to work in especially and was so on the ball with utilising the environment we had and all the possible backgrounds. We did a bit of shooting against the apartment features and then Ove also cleverly set up a studio-style backdrop so we could achieve some more controlled light shots and get the best of both worlds. :) All-round it was a very productive session and we achieved a great deal of variety in the time that we had; natural light fashion/glamour, arty shapes and bodyscapes and so much more. I am so pleased that we managed to work something into my tour schedule as juggling dates to start with so that we both had the same free time was looking challenging but then it all worked out in the end and how well it worked too!

It was nice because as well as having some clear ideas of what he wanted to achieve from the shoot, Ove also allowed me to pull out suggestions so we could just bounce of each other. We would get several really cracking looks out of a single outfit change: Ove has a great creative eye and can also change looks up very well by working the light in interesting ways.

Ove is a really sweet person: he was so easy to communicate from the early stages of messaging and then on the day we chatted in between shots: Ove has a caring and respectful aptitude towards his models and was always asking if I was well hydrated (it was an insanely hot day!) or needed anything etc. He's extremely well mannered and professional; I would certainly recommend him to other models as I found him so easy to strike a good working rapport with. I look forward to getting the chance to work together again soon. Thank you very much again Ove: super glad that we managed to arrange something and here's to the next opportunity when ever that may arise! :D

Artemis Fauna

I worked with Ove for three hours a few days ago during my Scotland tour.

We worked together in the hotel room I had booked and covered a lot of different genres and ideas in the time.

Ove was easy to work with and was happy to try out some of my ideas too. The shots I have seen from the shoot so far look fab and I would happily work with Ove again!

Yesterday, I have shooting with nice Scandinavian photographer called Ove.

Ove is such a gentleman. Ove bring with him many shrouds that we use for shoot ideas. Working with Ove was great fun.

I am hoping that combination of our ideas for the shooting will have result in some great images.

Oh yes, Ove loves my coffee because I'm good coffee maker, lol.

I hope we work together again very soon.
