Hi, my name is Phil and I'm a Swansea based hobbyist photographer.
I have an active interest in film photography (as in 35mm, not moving pictures) and old cameras, but at the moment I'm probably shooting 50% digital and 50% film.
Film (or slow) photography is really what I want to do, but using a digital camera alongside that is a good learning aid and safety net for me right now, especially when shooting portraits....
I have some experience of portrait photography, but the very reason I am here is to make contacts and develop those skills, and so far so good :-)
Ideally:
I want - to take slow deliberate photos that capture 'a moment, a mood or a style';
I want - to work with creative people to capture my/their/our ideas as images in camera;
I don't want - to build fantasy images in photoshop (full credit to those who can, but it's not my thing).
Although I don't have a permanent studio I can shoot at home, either 'in-situ' or in a home-studio set-up, or alternatively on location or at a location of your choice.
I'm really looking for people to work with here, so I'm happy to consider any collaborations, with models or other photographers, whatever your experience level, paid or unpaid.
